Chapter 1

This is who plays Damon.

Abigail's POV

My sleep was abruptly ended by my alarm that was set far too early for my taste. Rolling over to slam my hand against the stupid contraption I let out a few cuss words when I realized it was quarter past eight, and I had to be at work by nine.
"SHIT. Shit shit shit shit."
I said as I launched myself off my comfy bed towards the bathroom to have a quick shower.
After my record fast shower I changed into my work uniform and ran out the door to my car. The car roared into life and I was on my way to work.

I pulled into my parking spot at the building and ran inside for the meeting I was about to be late for. My name is Abigail Richards and I am owner and CEO of Richards Inc. One of the biggest company's in the world.
I run into the elevator and pray to God that the meeting has not started. I push the buttons for the correct floor and that is when I notice someone else is in the elevator with me. That person turns out to be Elle, the buildings comfort dog. She's a golden retriever puppy that I guess is going to the meeting to help the attendees feel more comfortable.
I turn to watch the floors scroll by when all of a sudden the elevator lurches and the lights start flickering. It's stopped.
"That's it. I'm going to die." I say slightly panicking while starting to pace around the small space.
" The one day I'm too late to take the stairs I get stuck in this stupid thing?" I yell, getting mad.
My breathing starts to come out faster and my heart rate starts racing. I have a fear of elevators. Especially ones that break down when I'm in them on a way to a important meeting. I can feel a panic attack creeping up on me. I slide down the wall and fall to the floor in a heap. Elle whimpers and rests her head on my lap. Tears start to fall from my eyes and soon I'm having a full blown panic attack.

Damon's POV

"Where is Abigail? She was the one that suddgested out companies merge on this project." I said while running my hand through my hair.
Albert, the guy thay takes notes walks into the room with a red face and sweating.
"Sorry I'm late sir, the elevator is broken. I had to run up the stairs and you know how good I am at running, especially up stairs." He said while sitting down in a chair around the table.
"Did you see Abigail Richards while running up the stairs? Who am I kidding. If you saw her she would have been here before you. Your slower then Elle when she tried to go up the stairs." I said while laughing.
"I heard someone was stuck in the elevator from the maintenance man. Maybe she's stuck in the elevator?"  He said while getting himself ready for the meeting.
"I hope not. Remember the last time we met with her, when we went in the elevator and she took the stairs. She told us how much she hated elevators and how getting stuck in one of one of her biggest fears." I said while getting up and starting to walk out of the room.
I walked down to the elevator. When I arrived I saw that there was a crowd of people around it. I walked over and pushed my way to the front.
"What is going on here?" I asked.
That is when I noticed multiple firemen and people gathered around them. I over heard them saying something along the lines of,
" she has been stuck in the elevator for around 45 minutes and we know she is most likely having a panic attack because of what people have said." One fireman said to another.
"Who's stuck in the elevator?" I said while walking over to the two firemen. Even though I already knew the answer.
"Abigail Richards." They both said at the same time.
