Truth or Dare?

"Peter Parker, get your web-shooting ass out here!" I said yelling, a laundry basket full of web-covered clothes in my hands. "Yes, Ms.Stark?" Peter said peeking around the corner, he always calls me that when I'm upset. "My dad let you stay at the tower with us, but that does not mean you can fill the washer and dryer with your web-shooters!" I threw a few web-covered shirts at him and stormed off to the training room.

What was dad thinking letting Peter stay here? "Look at me I'm Tony Stark I can do whatever I want like not consult anyone before letting Spider-Man stay in the tower." I thought, going down the elevator, the door opened to reveal Steve going at the punching bag. "Hey, Cap." I said walking over to the pull up bar. "Kid, how's it going?"

I gave Steve the look I always do when I'm upset, a dull bland face that says 'how do you think I feel'. Steve have some a slight chuckle and put a hand on my shoulder. "What is it this time?" He asked, raising a brow slightly. "It's Peter. Living with him is a nightmare. His webs are always everywhere, he's messy, he randomly comes into my room, he's always curious about what I'm doing, he" "Has a crush on you." Steve finished, cutting me off.

"What do you mean?" I asked, glaring slightly and moving my head forward. "I've seen how he acts around you, (Y/N). He really likes you, but I've said enough already." Steve said before walking out of the training room, leaving me stunned. Peter...likes me?

I stayed in the training room and did my workout routine, all while thinking about what Steve had said to me. I thought Peter liked MJ, he always talks about her, walks with her, jokes with her. He clearly likes her. I thought as I finished up my workout and went to the elevator. As I walked out I came face to face with Peter.

"Hey, (Y/N). I was just heading out to get some ice cream, wanna come with?" Peter asked. a slight smile on his face. "Sure." I said. We both walked into the elevator and waited on the way down. The elevator came to a sudden stop and it went dark, the red backup light having a dim glow. "What just happened?" Peter asked looking quite frazzled. "I'm sure it'll be running again in a minute." I said looking around the elevator for any sign of what might have caused it to stop. "Help me up so I can look at the cables." I said, pointing at the small door in the ceiling.

Peter cupped his hands and I climbed through the small door. I looked around and everything seemed to be ok. "Maybe it's something with the generator." I said peering back down the hole I had come through. "Well as long as we're stuck here, what do you wanna do?" Peter asked, shrugging slightly. "I'm assuming that the backup should be running any minute so there's not need-" "Did I hear truth or dare?"

"Fine, Peter, I'll play your little game. Truth or dare?" I asked, hopping back into the elevator. "Truth." Peter said as we both sat down on the floor. "How come you haven't asked MJ out yet?" I asked. Even though it was dark, I could still see the slight blush on Peter's face. "I like someone else actually." "Oh really who is-" "Not your turn! Truth or dare (Y/N)?"

"Dare." I stated, boldly. "I dare you to do my laundry for a week, no a month!" Peter exclaimed, rather smuggly. "Fine, that just means no more webs in the laundry. Truth or dare, Parker?" "Truth." "So you said you didn't ask out MJ because you like someone else, who?"

It was dead silent in the elevator for a moment or two before Peter mumbled something. "What was that?" I asked. "You. I like you ok." Peter said standing from the spot he was sitting. "I've liked you for a long time, but I've never had the courage to say it. Everyone thinks I like MJ, but it's you."

I stay seated, stunned from what I just heard. I knew it, but I never expected him to say it. "I get it, you don't have to like me back. It won't change anything." Peter said, running a hand through his hair. I stood up and walked over to him before taking his hands in mine. "I think I'd be willing to give us a shot."

With that, the lights in the elevator came back on and we were moving again. Peter and I exited to the street where my dad and Steve were waiting. "So, you two love birds are going to get ice cream huh?" My dad asked, a smirk present on his face. "It was you that stopped the elevator!" I yelled before my dad threw his hands up. "It was Cap's idea not mine." "Tony, don't blame me. I wasn't the one that stopped the elevator."

The two kept going back and forth as I dragged Peter away. We went to the ice cream shop and ordered a banana split to share. "You know Peter, I'm glad we played truth or dare." I said reaching over to grab his hand. "Me too (Y/N), me too."
