Chapter 30: The Imprisonment

Brendon slipped in and out of consciousness. when he finally regained full consciousness he was surprised to see Jack Niles standing in front of him in ACU soldier slacks. Jack Niles grinned and just backhanded Brendon right in the face. Brendon jumped out at Jack and found he was restrained on a chair. He had no hope of escape because the chair was bolted to the floor. He growled at Jack.

"You sound like an animal." Jack laughed.

"You sound like an idiot." Brendon spat

SLAP

That cost Brendon another backhand to the face. Brendon jerked against his restraints trying to attack Jack.

"So they let pansies like you in the ACU?" Brendon laughed cruelly

Jack kicked Brendon in the gut with his boot. Brendon groaned in pain. 

"Yeah and they give pansies like me the rank of Major too." Jack laughed

"Oh how could you ever be a major? You couldn't command girls let alone ACU soldiers." Brendon laughed

" Oh I just set them on your trail." Jack grinned

"WHAT?" Brendon yelled

"Oh yes I just had to convince them that I knew where you were and bargain for this." Jack said

"Why? Jack you are-"

SLAP

"Seems you guys are high value targets. Very important on the wanted list. You see you three are the start." Jack was getting closer

"You see we can't locate the rest of the Tricycles or whatever you guys call yourselves." Jacks sour breath blew in Brendon's face 

"It's a lucky break we found you. Now we need he rest. You're going to tell me whether you like it or not." Jack said

Jack kicked a table towards Brendon and he saw all sorts of wicked sharp instruments. He knew what those were. He had seen them before. Brendon suppressed some memories. Jack grinned.

"You'll tell us what we want to know." Jack laughed

"Never." Brendon scowled

"Then maybe we'll get it out of Robert...." Jack said playing with a pair of pliers

"Or maybe the new girl...." Jack said grabbing a scalpel

"I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU TOUCH HER I'LL WILL RIP YOUR-" Brendon raged

"Aha, I found the weak spot, maybe we'll start with her at 5:00." Jack said slowly

Jack put duct tape over Brendons mouth to keep him from screaming more. As Jack left, tears of fear for Jess fell from Brendons eyes. Now that Jack was out of Brendons view he saw Robert in a chair across from him. Robert was in bad shape. Roberts face was covered in blood and he had bruises and cuts everywhere. About ten minutes later Robert groaned. Brendon got a view of his surroundings. He saw a clock to his left. 3:54. He needed to get Robert up.

Brendon started to make muffled cries through the duct tape. Roberts eyes flickered open. He saw Brendon and saw the duct tape over his mouth. Brendon licked the duct tape and after awhile the duct tape fell off. 4:00

"They have Jess, Robert." Brendon gasped

"We have to help her, they're going to torture her!" Brendon wept

"Brendon calm down we have to think it through." Robert cautioned

That calmed Brendon down a little bit. He started up again, struggling against the restraints.
