Yay new story!
I sadly don't own any characters besides Sky and Lauren, possibly others.
Ps. Sky is my character she is not the Skye from AOS
All the characters are teens in this story and I'm not basing it off the comics
Sky's POV
The robots ran at me with incredible speed. They lashed at my skin and I dodged it like a pro. I dived underneath the next attack and stabbed it with my dagger from behind. The rest of the robots lay scattered on the floor around me. May entered clapping.
"Nice job Barton. You almost beat Clint's time. Keep up the good work." I nodded and head out of the simulation room. My black combat boots clicked under the tiles below me as I head to the bridge.
"Morning Sky." Agent Hill greeted me. "Fury wants you in his office."
Oh crap.
My first day of combat training and Fury already wants to see me. I reached his office and knocked on the door.
"Enter." He said briefly. I opened the door slowly and found him sitting at his desk.
"Hill said you wanted to see me Director?" He nodded and motioned for me to sit across from him. "Am I in trouble sir?"
"No. I need you to do something for me." I gulped down my nerves and let him continue.
"Director if you're going to ask me to join your super secret boy band-"
"That's not what this is about. This is about the new High School in Florida S.H.I.E.L.D will start in 2 days. The school for heroes. I want you to attend it."
"Sir I know your intentions mean well but you can't possibly expect me to quit my training. I was about to start today." He looked at me seriously.
"Well that's what I want, and you and I both know you're already fit enough for field missions." I looked at the plain grey floor and started to play with my hands.
"I'll be there."
Lauren's POV
The sun shone brightly in my face as I laid flat on my back on my roof. I smiled and gratefully took in the warmth.
"Lauren get your stupid self down here and pack your things!" My drunk Dad screamed from the front door. I rolled my eyes dramatically and flew down to the porch.
"Where are you sending me now Dad?"
"Marvel High in Florida. It's far away from New York and perfect for freaks like you." He finished with a smirk. I ran inside and packed my things. He wasn't joking this time; that I knew for sure. I didn't even mind to be honest because I would get away from my Dad and people like me would be there. I smiled at the thought of getting away from my Dad. I opened my walk in closet and brought out my black suit case. I filled it with yoga/sweat pants, my tank tops and sweat shirts, and finally my other set of black converse. It's a totaly Dauntless way to dress but it's my style and if anyone has a problem they can say hello to my fists.
I rolled the luggage out to the car and hopped into the passenger seat. "I'm dropping you off at the airport." My Dad exclaimed.
"Wait Dad I don't even have any money." He threw me a credit card with my name on it. I just shoved it into my suitcase and he pulled out of the driveway. We made it to the front entrance of the airport and he stopped the car just long enough for me to get out. I rolled my luggage into the front terminal.
