beneath the darkness

The city was flickering more and more each time getting longer and longer. People fleeing to open door with the people left on the streets hidden in what cover was ekeft after the crowd's rampage from the darkness.

Screams ran though the air and terror filled the citizens eyes someone had spot a night craller on the roof of one of the clothes shops and that didnt help the situation in hand.the doctor and mather followed young nicky to a small hut with an iron door. The iron door had a crest on It, the creat was a Phoenix with a crystal heart, the doctor and mather were rushed in before a night craller saw them only to have this particular predator scrach at the door as if it wanted to get in.as if it didnt want to saty out there but soon after a minute and a loud screch which the doctor belived was a call of there leader the night craller left the door. nicky seemed puzzled, shelooked like she didnt understand something.

"whats wrong nicky?" the doctor went over to hear. she was standing at the dorr with her ear to the cold hard, metalic surface.

i dont get it night crallers cant see and can only hunt useing other sences, they hunt our flesh our seant. why did that one try to open the door, what would be the point of that, they cant sence us in here, there is no way for it to know we are in here, why did it knock?"

the doctor put his hand on her sholder she turned she was so confused and couldnt interpreate what had happened. after a moment of silence nicky opened the door she could hear nothing on the other side and couldnt stand not knowing. she slowly opened the door. the door made no sound but the doctor wasnt sure about the new corse of action.

"are you sure about this." doctor looked at the dark crack in the gap between the doorway and the door he had a bad feeling. mather was sitting at the back of the room terrified of what was lerking in the darkness.

mather stood up and walked towards the door way slowly stopping by the doctors side.

"so what are we going to do doctor we cant stay here."

"mather is right doctor i need to go to the genorator and fix it or else etheal will be swallowed in darkness and fear forever. you cant come with me you need to return to your ship where you can fly away, you have your parts." nicky looked terrified at them but still was sturn she didnt want them to get caught up in there mess and they shouldnt have to deal with this just because they were there at the wrong time.

"we are not leaving you dont you see we are here to help and it is unfair that we leave you now at the point that you need our support most, right doctor, doctor where are you?"

 at that point the doctor was gone nd the was wide open the doctor had gone, mather lokked like she was going to blow a fuels.

"does he do this oftern mather?"

"yes and it is starting to get on my wick, well we catch up to him!" mathers face almost went red.her and nicky cautiously went out the door. nicky locking it behinder and then putting the key in her shrts pocket. behind the three bins which were behind the small but cosy hideout was someone lerking there watching from afar and slowly crept out his hiding spot to follow them as they disappered in to the swaying darkness unknowing of what danger they were walking head on into.
