It was a loud night in Atlanta. Everyone was trying to evacuate.
"We have to get the experiment observations!" Someone yelled, from a science building.
"From which-?"
"Project Shade#029!" They both turned to a certain room. Inside was a woman in her late twenties, with unusual amber eyes, and dark brown hair with blonde strands here and there, with light tan skin.
"What do you want, Bill Nye?" She grunted to one of the men.
"First of all, my name is Greg." He sighs. He looks the woman in the eye.
"Look here, Shade. Your name may not be Taylor anymore, but that doesn't mean you can make up names for me."
"It's the end of the fucking world!" Shade hissed.
"The zombie apocalypse? Nonsense, we can get over it. The zombies are dumb."
"Don't sound like a child."
"What?"
"Call them walkers. Not.. zombies." She growled. Greg rolled his eyes.
"Whatever. The 'walkers' are no biggie."
"I think they will be."
The other scientist joins in. "How do you know this?"
"Because, Anthony," Shade sneers, "They're wiping out Atalanta. They're spreading all over the world!" Anthony and Greg sigh in sync.
"Shut up, and let's go." Greg day before grabbing shade by her arm. She struggles to get out of his grip. She then uses what the whole purpose of Her existence here was.
The scientists were studying a new serum that could possibly turn humans into animals. The one they tested on her was a wolf serum. It was successful, and named her Shade after the dark color of her wolf pelt.
Shade bites onto the scientists' arm harshly, causing blood to flow. He yelps in pain and releases his grip, and Shade takes off. She was a fast runner, especially as a wolf. She kept running until her paws collapsed under her. She was finally free of the lab. Shade dragged herself into a nervy bush, and curls up to sleep.
Finally, she could rest without worry of more experiments.
