"Getting us our ticket out of here." Dustin speaks in a 'duh' tone.

"You want to walk all the way back?" Erica's eyes widen.

Dustin approached the girl once grabbing the keycard. "Well, we can hang out a bit, relax, have a picnic." Dustin retorts sarcastically.

"Have a picnic?" Erica narrowed her eyes at the boy. "We came here for the radio."

"This plan is way better." Dustin decided to argue it. "If I knew Steve could knock out a Russian, that would've been our plan in the first place."

"But of course we didn't know because Steve's never won a fight until now." I teased Steve, grinning at him and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Guys." Robin suddenly says, standing near the stairway. "There's something up there."

We all then walked up the stairs and opened the door quietly, we all snuck through and there were Russian's talking.

We all looked through the window. "Holy shit." I murmur. There was a machine right in front of us trying to open the gate that El had shut down last year.

Steve, Dustin, and I all look at each other. "The gate."

We all then head back downstairs as we tried to explain to them that yes; we have seen this before. "I don't understand," Robin begins. "You've seen this before?"

"Not exactly," I say as I was the first to reach the bottom.

"Then what, exactly?" Robin demands.

"All you need to know it's bad." Dustin tells her.

"It's really bad." Steve continued on.

"Like, super bad." I nodded. "Like end of the human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad."

"And you know about this how?" Robin narrowed her eyes at us.

"Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" Erica asked and I turned around and the Russian guy wasn't there anymore.

Oh, we're screwed.

The alarm then start to blare over our heads. "Shit." Steve muttered and walked over to the door and opened it, to check what was going on. He then slams the door shit. "Go, go, go, go, go!"

"Shit!" Dustin cried and we all run down a tunnel, exiting that room. We entered through several doors during our tunnel travels. And then we stopped when we realised we had entered the viewing room of the process of opening up the gate.

Everyone turned to us. We then all turned to our lefts, going down a flight of stairs and cursing out a bunch of words. We all got close to the machine that looked like one big lage laser.

"Guards!" I yelled out as I turned around and Steve ushered us forward, down the stairs. Steve pushed a guy in masks out of the way and we were on ground but the Russians were closing in on us.

"Oh, shit!" We all muttered out.

Steve then pushed a barrel of containers towards some guards at an entrance, knocking them down like bowling balls. We all then found another door and we were running towards it.

Steve slammed the door shut behind us. There was some staircases and a trapdoor; our freedom.

My heart was thumping against it's chest and I would give anything to just be with my twin sister right now.

"Robin!" Steve cried out. "Help me! Come on!" Robin had quickly gone to Steve's side to push against the door, too, as the Russians pound on the door.
