Part One-Corillinoria’s P.O.V.
(swear words included)
July
By the King’s crown I can not wait to get out of here. Damn Val’kyr, always seeing everything. I was spying for the king so he could save his hide, now I’m trapped in a cell with, of all people, Sylvannas as a watchdog. Just my luck. The other worgen with me, Gwynnie, got caught too. At least she’s in the cell next to me. But anyways.
This place is a hell hole, literally. Since my worgen nose smells all, it sucks. Going into human form doesn’t help, since I still retain my worg-like qualities, just my physical form changes. So, I might as well save the stress of changing and stay as a worgen.
It’s dark. Smelly. Cold. Well, what would you expect in the Undead world, right? I just think Scrubbing Bubbles would help a bit. I asked Sylvannas where the Febreze was but that earned me a swift kick to the ribs. I hope, whoever reads this, does NOT get caught and thrown in prison. -Cor
I threw my journal to the side of my cell and curled up in the corner. Sylvannas was out. Agatha, the Val’kyr that caught Gwynnie and I, reported of mayhem in the Raising Fields. Thats what they call the place that they raise Undead. To me, it was sick. But, I saw this as a chance to make a break for it. “Gwyn, are you awake?” I heard a soft growl. “Yes, I am. Who could sleep here?!” I agreed.
“We can run for it. I know how.”
“How?” She inquired.
“Look. I am a hunter, as you know. My pet fox can fit through anywhere. If I summon her, then tell her to fetch me the keys, she will bring them back. I’ll unlock the cages, and we can run. Deal?”
She pondered the thought for a minute. “Only if you promise to let me out too.”
“I promise.”
“Deal.”
I called to my fox, TillyVonMo. She was silver with white, a Gilnean Fox. She appeared by my side and started to dance. I laughed and played with her a bit. “Tilly. This is an important mission. I need you to find me the keys to unlock our cells. Go fetch girl!”
She slipped through the bars of the cell and slipped into the shadows. I heard someone scream. Not a normal scream, but a wet one. Someone got their throat ripped out. Now that would cause a ruckus. I saw Tilly streak for me and nudged the keys to me with a sudden urgency. I saw red on her silver coat, and knew it wouldn’t be long until they found us. I dismissed her as fast as I could. I quickly undid the lock, getting my hand caught for a moment. I ran over to Gwynnie’s cell and unlocked the lock and opened the door.
“Hurry,” I whispered,“We don’t have much time! They’ll be here soon.” She ran out of her cell and thanked me. “First things first,” she told me, “ We find our weapons. I have spells, but you need your bow. I remember walking past a room with bows and other things. Lets go there.” I nodded my head in agreement and turned on Aspect of the Pack; That way we would both move faster. She led the way, down twisting, dark hallways. We came to the room and I saw my bow right away. I was overjoyed. I turned to Gwynnie, but she was nowhere to be seen. “Gwyn?” I called out to her. I saw a movement in the shadows in the room across from this one. I carefully went to go inspect.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the heroic hunter, come to save the druid in distress.” I knew that voice. It was Sylvannas! She must’ve returned early. Damn it! I growled at her. “Let her go! If you don’t give us our freedom, I’ll take it!”
“Oh, so scary! I’ve dealt with your kind before. Your death will be slow and painful. As for your friend here, I need to practice some new torture methods. But, if you return to your cells, your punishments won’t be as harsh. Deal?”
Gwynnie looked at me with pleading eyes. I didn’t want my comrade hurt. I didn’t want to die! But, somethings you just can’t accept.
“Sylvannas, Let. My. Friend. Go. Now. No more games. I WILL ruin this place!” I growled and drew my bow. She just laughed. “ So be it, Worgen scum. Good luck.” She laughed and drew her weapons. I called Tilly, and she attacked. I started with Concussion Shot, then Serpent Sting. While Tilly kept her busy, I cast Mend Pet and laid an Explosive Trap. Sylvannas let out a laugh. “Is this all you have got hunter? How pathetic!” She attacked me, and got my arm pretty good. Blood went everywhere. She laid a deep blow into Tilly’s leg. That was the last straw. I cut open Gwyn’s ropes and she got up to fight too. She cast Entangling Roots and Moonfire. I cast Mend Pet again, and shot Arcane Shots at Sylvannas. I called on Dire Beast, and called all my pets to fight with me. Between Gwyn, my pets, and I, Sylvannas was a s good as done. “You wretched Idiots! You’ll pay for this!” She ran away, and I called all my pets to me. There was blood everywhere. Gwyn healed me and herself, and I cast Mend Pet on Tilly again. Exhausted, I turned to Gwyn.
“ Lets get out of here.”
“Agreed.”
