After an hour and a half of waiting, the scientists sorted them off into groups, escorting them outside into a larger truck. And of course, thanks to the Parker luck, Peter just had to be sitting next to Wade. The truck was crowded and it didn't help anymore that Wade was currently hovering over him, blowing air into his ear.

"Can you please stop?" Peter hissed as he squirmed away from Wade, who grinned in response and only leaned in closer. He had to shove Wade's face away with his palm, only to end up with a handful of spit. Peter's eyes widened as he gagged loudly, wiping his wet hand on Wade's arm. The blond giggled hysterically, looking like a full-blown maniac.

Peter tried to be polite, he really did but when Wade pushed, he had to push back. He stood up and walked to the other side of the truck, which was easier than said, due to the fact that the truck was currently in motion. It ran over a rocky road that, once in a while, formed a small hill that rocked the truck from side to side, causing the children to slam against each other.

He stumbled for a bit then eventually reached the other side, gripping the wall tightly. When the time came to sit down, he found that his palm was stuck firmly to the metal and cold interior of the vehicle. Peter's eyes narrowed momentarily as he tugged on his hand, trying to get it to unstick.

It didn't help with the growing migraine that Wade helped form in his head.

With a loud groan, he resorted to just leaning against the wall, praying to the gods above that there weren't going to be any major hills ahead and he wouldn't rip the skin from his hand. He would survive, of course, but it would better if it didn't happen. In his small distress, Peter hadn't noticed that he wasn't the only one who moved. Next thing he knew, a pair of blue eyes stared intensely at him from the seat he was about to take.

Great. This is just perfect.

When they arrived at Foundation X, he briefly wondered how much money it took to fund the construction of the building, seeing how large it was. It was a glorious sight but he didn't have any time to closely examine the exterior design before they were rushed in, entering through the double doors.

It wasn't long before each child was separated and placed into different rooms. Peter's room was slightly smaller than his old bedroom, with a twin bed in the corner and a door leading to the bathroom. The room was plain and bare without much to cover the white walls. There was a window but he couldn't open it and there weren't any blinds available to close it.

On the bed were two bins with a sign taped to each of them. One of them contained a white tank top and a sweatpant while the other one was just empty. Suddenly, a static noise filled the room.

"Subject Parker. P."

Peter jumped, startled by the abrupt voice. He looked around, trying to spot where it was coming from before spotting a mini speaker in the corner of the room with a lens placed on top of it, undoubtedly focused on him.

"I see that you've found the contraption that was placed in the room." The voice continued. "Can you hold up your hand?"
