You were sitting at a table in the busy coffee shop answering your emails. Your internet at home was out for the next few days, so you were forced to use free wifi to answer your work emails. You sighed softly looking around the shop after having responded to the last of your emails while you waited for your coffee.
Scanning the coffee shop, you made mental notes about the people you saw. Ranging from the various sleep deprived college students to the people dressed in suits for work. A familiar look caught your attention but you thought nothing of it.
A beep from your laptop drew your attention back to your laptop, sighing as you answered an email from your boss already getting on your nerves. You attached your report to the email, knowing he hasn't read it and has thrown it away "by accident".
The barista came over to the counter with two drinks in their hands. "(Y/N). Jaehee."
Both of you got up, you forming another mental note in your head. You got up there and reached for your coffee, bumping your hand against another.
"Oh, sorry," You turned to face the person pausing your sentence to take in what was happening, "Jaehee? I haven't seen you in years."
She nodded at you and took the proper cup of coffee, leaving a paper on the counter next to yours with her number and walking out of the store.
"You've always been hard to talk to," you muttered, taking the paper and your coffee going back to your seat.
