Chapter 1: Mike

I was one of the lucky few who survived that day, more or less, born and lived that day. The day of my birth was the day Star Labs had launched their particle accelerator and it had back fired and blew up. Many died that day, some went missing, and the few who survived badly injured or they are now a new superhuman called a meta human. There's good meta's like the Flash and his team, then there's the bad ones, the ones that Team Flash take down. Well then there's me, someone who has no clue who they are in the world, no clue if they have meta powers or not from the blast. The lucky few don't have the powers, the unlucky few have the powers and either become corrupt and abuse them, or abuse their powers to get the things they desire. For me on the other hand I'm confused on what my powers will be. It's been 16 years after the accident and I've only shown a few signs of powers. The only reason why I might have powers was because as the explosion hit the hospital my mom was only 4 hours into labor, when it did hit, it killed my mom and surging energy into my weak body, as well as causing an emergency c section. As of that I was born. My father was never there for me so my next of kin was my grandma. She was the one who raised me for the past 16 years. She watched as I became a young man who got his first job as a cook. She later died from a heart attack later that year, so I was off on my own again, I was paying my own bills and I was left with the little house she had and the little money she had. To me that was enough she gave me more then anything. She even watched as my first power came to me, I wouldn't really call it a power but it's more then something. It's not everyday you see someone with raven black wings. So off of my story time for the where I'm at now. I was walking down the street of Starling City. I was then pulled into an alleyway and pushed up against the wall. I try to see my attackers but it's to dark for me to spot them out. I let out a small groan as they push me against the wall and one of the guys, I'm assuming is a meta, started to grip onto one of my wings trying to break it. Then a shadow starts to form off my body and attacks them, protecting me. I then blackout in the alley as the shadow continues to fights the men.
