Flower Tale

Chapter One: The Five Flowers

*Frisk walks down the hallway to the entrance of the ruins. This was her 195th reset. She enters the spot where flowey is supposed to be, only he wasn't there. Instead, there were 4 flowers, each with different colored petals. One had pink petals, one had red, one had orange, and one had grey*

In thought (Frisk): This is strange. In all of my resets, I have never seen this happen.

(unknown pink flower): Shhh Shhh! Someone's coming! Get into character!

*Frisk walks up to the flowers*

(Unknown pink flower): hello human! And welcome to the underground! My name is Sarah! Sarah the flower!

(Unknown red flower): *Deranged voice* Kill it! Kill it now!

*Frisk looks at the orange flower, sleeping peacefully*

(Frisk): My name is Frisk

(Sarah): Nice to meet you Frisk! *sarah turns around and tells the red flower to settle down*

*The orange flower wakes up*

(Unknown orange flower): *sleepily* What's all the commotion for? *notices Frisk Standing in front of them* Oh! Hello there! My name is Snoozy! Snoozy the flower!

(Frisk): My name's Frisk

*Frisk Shifts uncomfortably*

(Frisk): Is that red flower going to kill me?

(Sarah): Oh no, I won't let him.

*The gray flower speaks softly*

(Unknown Gray flower): hello, my name i-is Gary

(Sarah): Gary speak up! The human can't hear you!

(Gary): *slightly louder* my n-name i-is Gary

(Frisk): Nice to meet you Gary!

(Sarah): Gage, introduce yourself

(Gage): *sighs* fine. My name is Gage. I want to kill you right now because if I do then with your soul's power I can kill these idiots who are here next to me

*A neon blue flower pops up out of the ground*

(Unknown blue flower): Sorry I'm late Sarah, what'd I miss? *The flower turns and sees Frisk* Oh! I'm so sorry for being late. My name is Jonathan the flower, but you can call me John! *John magically grows a vine and holds it out to Frisk*

*Frisk Grabs the vine and shakes it like a hand*

(Sarah): Where were you?

(John): sorry sis, I was hanging out with a guy I met in the woods

(Sarah) Whatever. Anyway Frisk, go on ahead and you'll find the ruins. Now, the ruins is empty for the most part, except for a few old monsters, and a few monsters that will try to harm you. Once you get through it, you will end up-

*Sarah is cut off by Gage*

(Gage): *yelling* Give my your soul human! *Gage extends several vines covered in purple thorns and goes to jab Frisk*

*Sarah grows some vines and grabs Gage's vines*

(Gage): I hate all of you. *Gage goes into the ground and disappears*

*Snoozy falls asleep, and Gary disappears into the ground like Gage did*

(Sarah): Dang it! Why won't you people ever just stick to your role so we can properly greet someone! Forget it *Sarah disappears into the ground*

(John): Don't mind them, you'll be okay. I'll guide you through the ruins, and help you out. Just go through those doors over there and I'll be on the other side. I can only travel through ground, so I won't be with you at all times, but I will try to help as much as I can. See you there! *John goes into the ground and disappears*

*Frisk was curious on how this timeline had happened. Frisk walks over to Snoozy, but decides not to wake him up. Frisk goes through the big doors and enters a large purple room*

(John): Hiya there!

*Frisk screams and jumps*

(John) *laughs* sorry that I scared you. Just keep on going ahead. The exit isn't far.

*Frisk kept walking and after entering the 5th room, saw a monster standing before her. It looked human in shape, but was covered in feathers and had a beak and talons and bird feet*

(Unknown monster): Ooh, a human! Human souls are supposed to be strong! Well, let's find out! *the monster laughs*

*The fight starts, and Frisk goes first. Frisk chooses to act, and tells a joke. The monster scoffs at her and throws multiple feathers from it's wing. They fly at her very fast. Frisk gets hit a little from one, and it slices her arm*

(Monster): Is that all you've got human? Entertain me!

*Frisk chooses to act again. She tries reasoning with the monster. The monster refuses to listen to reason. It attacks again, and Frisk manages to dodge all of the feathers. Frisk remembers that she had a small piece of bread in her pocket. She herself wasn't sure why it was there, but that wasn't important. She used her turn and threw pieces of the bread around*

(Monster): You think I'll be tempted by some silly bread? Who do you think I am human? I will- *The monster smells the bread. He knows the scent well. It is cinnamon sweet bread. He can't resist eating it*

(Monster): *talks with mouth full of food* Now listen here, just because I fell for that trick once doesn't mean it will happen again, okay?

(Frisk): It wasn't a trick! If you want more, I'll give you the rest. Just please don't kill me, I don't want to die

(Monster): Well, maybe if you have more bread, I'll let you go, this time. But don't tell anyone, ya'hear?

(Frisk): Deal

*Frisk hands over the bread. The monster uses mercy and lets frisk go. Frisk runs out of the room. Inside was two large doors. Toriel's house wasn't here like it was supposed to be*

(John): Sorry I haven't been of much help kid. I couldn't find any place to come out of the ground at. *notices the cut on Frisk's arm* Kid are you okay?

(Frisk): Yeah, I'm fine. I got in a fight, but I resolved things peacefully

(John): Well that's great to hear! I too believe that all problems can be solved peacefully. Here, let me heal ya *John grows two vines and wraps them around Frisk's arm. A green glow surrounds them, and the vines withdraw. The cut is fully healed, like it had never happened in the first place.

(Frisk): Thanks a lot!

*Johns Smiles*

(John): No problem kid. Now, on the other side of this door is the snowy forest. After that, you'll find Snowdin. Now, The monsters at Snowdin won't try to kill you. Well, most of them anyway. Some people will try to take your soul for its power. You need to be ready for that. Now, If you truly don't want to hurt anyone, you at least need to know how to dodge. That way you don't get hurt as well. I'll train you in the art of dodging in this room for a bit. Get ready kid.

(Frisk) What?!

*Several small white pellets are shot at Frisk. Frisk doesn't manage to dodge a single one.

(John): Are you okay kid? I threw my weakest pellets, but I still expected you to dodge a few of them!

(Frisk): I'm okay. Let's try it again.

*John nods and throws a single pellet. Frisk dodges it. Then John shoots another, and another. He starts doing it faster and faster. Then he slows it back down and shoots two at a time. They keep going until Frisk manages to dodge 5 pellets at the same time at high speeds. With the damage Frisk had taken, Frisk's max HP raised from 20 to 30. However, she was only at 3 HP*

(John) Good job kid! Here, let me heal ya *John heals frisk again* I'm impressed! You learn fast. Well, now you just have to head through this door and go to Snowdin. I'll check up on you soon, I have something to attend to right now. Stay alive!

*John disappears into the ground*

In thought (Frisk): Things are definitely different in this timeline. I'm glad something new is happening. Maybe now, I can get everyone out of the underground and make sure Mom and Dad stay together!
