~~ LEO ~~

The last thing Leo wanted to do, was to run into an angry goddess. Demeter had caught Leo and Calypso messing around in her cornfields and had surprised Leo so much, he lit himself on fire, burning half of her cornfields. Now, Festus had a corn growing out his mouth and he wasn't too happy about it. Leo glanced at the corn in Festus' mouth and laughed. "Sucks, huh, buddy?"

Festus whirled his teeth and blew smoke from his nose, clearly more aggervated. Calypso came over beside Leo and patted Festus' nose. The metal dragon calmed down and whirled his teeth happily.

Leo smiled at the beautiful girl beside him. Calypso smiled back happily and kissed his cheek. She messed with her hair, clearly wanting to say something.

Leo laced his hand into hers and Calypso looked up at him. "Whats up?

Calypso sighed and stared at they're interlocking hands. "Don't you think... We head back soon?"

Leo stared out into the sky feeling lost. "I'm not too sure if I can... How am I supposed to face them when they think I'm dead?"

"I'm not sure but I'm sure they'll love that your actually... Well, not dead," Calypso said a bit jokingly.

Leo cracked a smile and changed Fetus' course. Camp Half Blood. "Lets hope so, babe."

~HAZEL~

Camp Half Blood was silent. The remaining six stayed in there respectful spaces: Percy at the bottom of the lake, Annabeth in the new library, Piper stayed in bed as if she caught a flu, Jason mostly stayed in the sky, and Frank and Hazel stayed close to each other in the stables. Each was still grieving over the loss of Leo Valdez.

Hazel cried practically everyday and all Frank could do was rub her back and comfort her. The others were hardly seen. The lake was either rampaging or eeraly quiet and the camp was either being flooded by rain or getting struck by lightning. The two demigods of the big three were quite distraught. If anything, they believed it was their faults for the death of Leo.

In the month, Leo's shroud was burned and the camp went silent. Espicielly the Hephaestus cabin. The curse seemed to get worse and not one demigod wanted to be near the work space. They're hands had stopped moving.

Hazel and Frank began walking out of the stables, Hazels sniffling being heard by every creature in the woods and every silent cabin. Hazel wiped her tears and jumped as a loud boom sounded throughout the camp. Something had obviously exploded. The couple sighed, assuming it was another Hephaestus camper trying to work their magic again. Boy, were they wrong!

Jason flew down so fast, Hazel nearly peed herself. "You wont believe whats crashing down onto camp,"

Before Hazel could reply, the ground shook as a large lump of Celestial bronze landed on the fresh grass.

"Festus!" Hazel shrieked in disbelief. She couldn't believe it. Percy arrived not soon later and pointed at Festus' burning body. "Look! Someones there!"

The person looked to be female and she was carrying another person. "Help! Please, oh gods, please help him!"

 Him.

Hazel ran to help but stopped short when she saw who was unconscious. Hazels mouth dropped open at the sight in front of her. Leo Valdez, the man who was supposed to be dead, was being held by a screaming girl. Hazel could tell the girl was Calypso, long brown hair, beautiful brown eyes. Hazel rushed to help as Calypso frantically shook Leo. "Leo! Leo, please get up!"

"What the Hades happened?" Hazel turned to Calypso quickly.

"There's not enough time to explain!" Calypso sobbed. "Just please help him, he's dying!"

Hazel turned her attention back to Leo. He was dying... but Leo Valdez was already suppose to be dead.

"This..." Hazel could barely hear her own voice as she stared at Leo's limp body. "This is Leo."

Calypso stared at Hazel. "Yes, this is and I understand the situation your in but please help him!"

Jason ran up and picked up Leo quickly. "Percy, get the infirmary ready!"

Percy was gone in an instant and Jason quickly followed with Calypso at his heels. Hazel stood shakily and watched as campers began to put out the fire. Fetus seemed to be still alive slightly. At the sight of the Hephaestus campers, he whirled his teeth slowly as his eye light slowly started to dim.

Hazel forced herself to look away and ran to the infirmary.

Leo's not dead.

Leo's alive and well.

He has the love of his life with him.

Hazel stopped short in the middle of the hall. Her chest ached. Tears were streaming down her face. Where was he? Hazel couldn't wrap her mind around it. Leo was suppose to be dead. She felt his heart rate stop. She saw the explosion. Saw his lifeless body.

Hazels legs felt like led as she walked down the hallway toward the infirmary room. Apollo campers were rushing in and out. Hazel stood by the door and stared. Percy looked dazed as Annabeth helped out with the Apollo kids. Jason and Piper also looked dazed as they stared at Leo's body. Calypso sat beside Leo, tears pouring out of her eyes as she clutched Leo's hand. Hazel slowly shuffled toward him and stared.

Leo Valdez. Hazel didn't understand. "H-How is he alive...?"

Calypso's stare was so fierce Hazel felt sweat form on her forehead. "That shouldn't matter right now!"

"It should matter!" Hazel's fists clenched. "Why didn't he come back? Why didn't he at least tell us he was alive?"

Leo's sudden gasp for air made everyone silent. He coughed a few times then slowly opened his eyes. He looked around at everyone in the room and smiled. "Hey guys."

Hazel leaped toward him as everyone else did the same. Leo winced as he hugged them back. All of them were crying and Hazel couldn't stop herself from letting out several unknown words.

"Come on, guys." Leo croaked out. An Apollo camper handed him a water and he took it graciously. "Thanks."

All eyes were on Calypso and Leo. She helped him up and he sighed. "I guess I got some answering to do, huh?"
