I shivered as I lay on the ground, the grass being my only company as I put myself in a sitting position, and looked at the night sky. It seemed unreal for it to be so full of life, so full of happiness. It was mostly unfair, since I felt hollow on the inside, a shell of something that had already been dead long ago.
I watched in amazement as the dark blue sky began changing it's color to that of a sunset. And then, a shadow.
" Who are you?" I yell, as the dark, menacing shadow grows, the once human shape, deforming. I needed to run, but where? There was nowhere to go. Only the endless green everywhere. I nearly tripped as I took a step back in horror, the growing shadow advancing towards me, taking me in.
And that was when I woke up.
I jolted awake, my hands clammy and shaking, and looked at the clock. It was already five in the morning, and although I don't usually wake up this early during school days, I wasn't excited to go back to bed. I slowly got up and made my bed, flashing back to a painful memory of one of my previous dreams...
C'mon sis!c'mon! Look it's the warrior! I turn around and see two sisters, a red-haired girl with wire-rimmed glasses and her sister, a toothy grin on her face and a set of dimples...
"Ugh, I should probably stop thinking right now." I said out loud and headed towards the bathroom to take a quick shower and get ready for school.

My dreams had started at the age of six; I learned many things in my dreams that I would bring up while eating dinner with my parents or years after, sharing with my friends. My parents would stare at each other wide eyed when I told them of my great adventures with my fictional friends, Chase and Chloe(Identical twins)riding hot air balloons and talking to animals. They calmed down after realizing that all this nonsense was coming from school...where else would a child learn about those things?
My friends on the other hand, became ex-friends when I noticed that they would spread rumors about me, saying I was just a plain old liar, just seeking attention that I didn't deserve. They got everyone against me, and I soon told my parents.
My parents decided that maybe it was time to meet new people, so we left town and found a place in the heart of Illinois. I attended Valley Middle school and finished the eight grade there. I graduated and went to Autumn High School, where I met Blue, my best and only friend. I had always doubted whether I should tell her about my dreams, I didn't want to lose my only friend. She would never make fun of me, would she?
Once I had gotten out of the shower, I put on my clothes and sat down on my bed. Today felt somewhat calmer, as if all my problems were slowly dissipating.
Looking back, I never would have known how Strange this day would get and how it would change my life-or lives for that matter.
