Chapter 1

Peter woke up to his alarm clock chiming. As Peter groaned, he got up and went to the bathroom and took a shower. After that, he had put his clothes on, brushed his teeth and went into the living room to see Aunt May cooking eggs and bacon. "Morning, Peter!" She said with a smile on her face. "Morning, May." Peter sat down by the counter and May put a plate of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon in front of him. Peter had finished quickly, grabbed his bag, gave May a kiss and headed out the door. "Bye, May!" He said before closing the door, putting on his headphones and playing 'Sunflower' by Post Malone and Swae Lee. Peter had gotten on the train and made it to school 15 minutes early. He walked in and made it to his locker.

"Hey, man." A familiar voice had said behind him.

He turned to see his best friend, Ned Leeds. "Hey, Ned." He said while opening his locker. "So dude, I heard on the news last night that Spider-Man saved a bus load of people from crashing into a store. How was that?" Ned asked with a curious look on his face. Ned was one of the only people who knew that Peter was Spider-Man. "It was good, yeah, nothing I haven't dealt with before." Peter grabbed his books and closed his locker when he heard another familiar voice talking to him and Ned.

"Hey, losers." MJ had said to the both of them.

They both greeted her with a 'hello' before she returned to reading her book. This was when Peter had caught himself staring directly at MJ. No one new this, not even Ned, but, Peter has had the biggest crush on MJ ever since they started high school. There was just something about her that made her stand out from all the other girls. What are you kidding, he thought to himself. She would never go out with you. Putting his feelings aside, him and Ned had walked to their first class, World History. Peter sat next to Ned and in front of MJ. He frequently caught himself staring at her whenever the teacher hadn't been in the classroom. "Dude, what're you looking at?" Ned asked him. "O-Oh, uh, nothing?" He said, embarrassed. Ned had looked to the spot he was starring at. "Peter, do you have a crush on MJ?" He asked. Peters cheeks turned pink and he turned around facing the front of the class. "Oh, my god." Ned said. "You do!" Peter slumped down in his chair and mumbled to Ned to shut up.

"Good morning, class. I hope you are all feeling good today!" Said the history teacher. Just as the teacher had put on a documentary about Christopher Columbus, Peter got a text message. Discretely, he checked the message. It was from MJ. Why is she texting me during class, he wondered. 'Hey, loser. Wanna meet at my place later to work on our project?' He turned and saw MJ look up from her book. He gave her a thumbs up indicating that he would meet up at her apartment. She nodded and returned to her book. After Peter went back to watching the doc, he got another message. He checked and it was an alert that there was an ongoing robbery. He nudged Ned and showed him the message. "Dude, go!" He whispered. He asked the teacher to go to the bathroom and he said yes. As Peter ran out of the classroom, MJ had caught note of it and wondered where he was going.

Peter and ran out of school and went into an alley. He grabbed an electronic wristband and put it on his wrist and double tapped it. The nanotech in the band covered his whole body in his Iron-Spider suit. He webbed his backpack to the side of a dumpster and started swinging to the bank. When he had gotten close, he stopped at the top of another building. "Karen? Can you show me a way to get in without being noticed, please?" He asked his A.I. that he had named 'Karen' when he had gotten the suit. "Yes, Peter. Go through the ventilation system and you should not be spotted." The automated voice said. He swung to the top of the bank and jumped down into the ventilation shaft. He crawled until he saw where the hostages were being held. "If that Spider-freak doesn't show in the next 5 minutes, I'm goin' to start shootin'." One of the robbers said. Peter had heard a little girl cry while the robber were talking to each other. One of them had started walking over to her and that's when Peter jumped down from the shaft and landed about 15 feet away from the robber. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the famous Spider-Man." The robber said.

"What do you want?" Peter asked in a serious voice. "Well, I'd like a lot of things. But lets start simple, killing you!" Said the robber as he raised his gun to Peter. Without hesitation, Peter shot a web at the gun and pulled it to himself and broke it in half over his knee. He then walked up to the robber, punched him in the air and webbed him to a wall. "Anyone else?" Peter asked. The 3 other robbers dropped their gun and got down on their knees. After Peter webbed all of their hands together, he walked over to the police officers that had just gotten into the bank. "Thank you, Spider-Man!" Said one of the cops. Peter nodded and ran out of the building hopping onto a car, jumping off and then swinging to the top of another building.

Peter had decided to not go back to school and just stay out as Spider-Man. While he was out, he stopped a mugging, stopped a grand theft bicycle but couldn't find the owner so he just left a note and that was pretty much all he did. It may have only been 2 things, but they had both taken up a lot of time along with the robbery. He checked his phone and noticed that it was 2:45. Time to head over to MJ's, he thought to himself. He was running across a building when he noticed her. He saw MJ walking through a street and noticed someone was following her.

He automatically had a bad feeling so he continued to follow them. When he saw MJ turn into an alley and the other guy as well, he the knew that something bad was about to happen.
