" January 3
Dear Someone,
It's been about 2 months since I have seen outside. The beautiful colors of the sky, the grass and the huge trees that towered over all living things. I miss the smell of everything, the dirt, the odd oak smell. Everything. But sadly I'm stuck in the jail cell until parole. If I get one.
Anyway, off that subject. I've been in here for about 3 months now, the first month was easy for me but after awhile it started getting hard. I haven't been able to sleep, or eat normally. The only thing I could do normally is read and or write....
-Damien Grey
I closed my journal and threw it aside along with my black pen, and sighed loudly. Cupping my face with my hands, starting to rub my eyes and cheeks. Getting up soon after to pace around the room my friend Jason was in the same room with me laying down on his bunk. Keeping an arm over his eyes. " Ya know Damien, you haven't been this worried and messed up, you're going to get out of here one way or another. Either if we break out or we're released. So please calm down and relax." He said in a soft sleepy voice. As he told those words my body instantly calmed, my nerves calmed, everything just calmed down. So I went over to my bed and sat down again with a sigh and leaned back up against the wall, my horns stopping my head from touching the wall completely. Closing my eyes untill I actually started to drift off to sleep...
Couple hours later....
I woke up to the sound of yelling and banging on my cell door. It was a female's voice but it sounded new....new to me anyway. But it was about four-something in the morning when the guards started waking everyone up. The yelling made me a little upset so I snapped back at the female guard. Getting up and walking to the iron bars grabbing ahold of them, growling deeply I'd shout back "Do you have anything better to do than to wake us up at four-something in the fucking morning, people would like to sleep in!"
Suddenly my orange jumpsuit was yanked down to the eye level of the guard, she kept a tight grip on the collar of my suit. "Listen here, Asshole, I happen to appreciate my job and just because you are behind bars for stupid mistakes, doesn't mean I have to like you or vice versa." Her voice was very stern. Her eyes were a bright purple, they were quite interesting. But as she said what she had said I growled lowly as she shoved me away, my tail also swishing angrily. Turning around going back to my bed I sat down and waited, for Jason to laugh or say something but he didnt. Oddly he didnt. He just layed there in utter amazement.
Later that Morning
We were called down for Breakfast around nine-fifteen that morning. Waiting for time to go by I had fallen asleep, waking up to Jason shaking my shoulder, groaning and rolling over "wake up it's time to go to breakfast." Jason said lowly. " Just five more minutes?" I groaned loudly pulling my shoulder away, but Jason growled and gripped my shoulder shaking again. "Damien come on before all the good stuff is gone" he said letting go of my shoulder before walking to the open cell door. I'd sigh and pull the thin sheet like blanket off of myself before sitting up quickly hitting my head on the top bunk. " Agh fuck!!" I'd shout before laying back down holding my head. "Ugh fucking beds..." I'd say getting over myself getting up more consciously. Setting my feet into the slippers they had given us. Sluggishly walking to the cell door I was focused on getting something to eat, so knowing my abilities I'd go to the railing near my cell dor and hop over it landing on the floor below next to jason in line, the others behind me growled and tryed to shove me out of the way but I just moved further in line.
