Wilderness: Of Soul.

— Try to be nice this time. 

— When am I ever not nice? 

— I can name a few, just... you know, don't be a bitch. 

— Oh well, you can't ask me to do miracles here. 

Standing in front of the Principal Thorsend's office where two girls who thought Alena couldn't hear them from the other side of the door. She sighed slightly, trying to prepare mentally as to what challenges would rise ahead in this unknown place that she didn't even want to go on the first place. She was already a year late, everyone already knew each-other and she was being thrown into the grasps of a school filled with piranhas. As Alena opened the door, she saw two girls, who contrasted eachother so much, it was kind of funny. The one on the right looked like the typical mean girl from an 90's movie. Blonde, polished, green eyes, tall and with a smile you knew it meant you only had to options: you where wither her friend or you where cannibalized in the school. The other one, on the other hand, look a lot more rough around the edges, slightly curvier with tan skin and with hair slightly under her ear. She seemed nice, but like she could be mean if you poked her just a little bit. 

— I'm Sabrina, and this is Danna. — the blonde girl stated without waiting even one second for Alena to even say anything. — We're going to show you around the school just for today. I mean, it's everyone's first day, but we where here last year. — 

— And by that, she means, we already know the school. Anyway, you're Alena, right? — Danna seemed to care more about the redhaired girl that stood in front of them, but Alena wasn't truly sure as it was the first time she has seen people her age, other than her cousin. 

— You have to tell us everything about Atlantis, you're like... the second girl to come from there. Is it really under water? Do you guys eat fish or is it cannibalism out there? — The know-it-all tone Sabrina used seemed to sound as if she knew all the answers already but was ready for Alena to make a fool out of herself just by talking to them. 

— Uh... — Alena had no words, she was consumed by confusion and her head was trying to translate every word in her head into words. 

— Oh, Danna, I think she... I'm like pretty sure she speaks fish or something, do we have to do like hand signs or- ¡Hey! — The brown haired girl used her elbow to make Sabrina shut up before she said something she shouldn't. 

— Fish don't speak... So, no. I don't speak fish. We can communicate with them by other means. Uh... Yes, I do come from Atlantis but it is no longer underwater. It is as you people call, an Island. —  Alena was slowly gaining a red tint on her face as words spurred out of her mouth. She seemed as if she was trying to structure the whole phrase on her head a couple of times, judging by the monotone voice that came out of her. 

— Ah, I see. Anyway, back to us. Thorsend Academy isn't like... a big deal as everyone makes it seem. You either get in here because you're good or because you're parents have money. So, as you can imagine a lot of people here are assholes. Unlike us, we're like, the coolest people around. — The was Sabrina spoke, was soft but high pitches at the same time. It was confusing as if you wanted to talk more but you couldn't bear to hear anything of whatever she was saying. 

— You're in our class, so you don't really have to worry much, we'll be here if you need anything. To be honest, I'm glad you are, you seem like a fun addition. — Danna spoke with such sincerity, it was impossible for Alena to not atleast smile slightly at her comment. The redhead started following both the girls around the school, which was a lot smaller than what she thought. Or at least what her cousin Teia told her. She was also in the school, but on her last semester, so she couldn't really see her much, considering bot of their schedules didn't go well together. Her and her cousin have been the only two people from her homeland to ever go to Thorsend or any school outside of Atlantis.
