Important Notes

1) I am not into writing romance.
2) Gore is fine, however, and I would like to know your preferences on the matter.
3) Any control you have over the plot is limited to your character's influence- although you're welcome to share ideas.
4) Character forms are not required.
5) Reading the rest of this chapter is not required, but is recommended.

What You Can Expect

If you're looking for a plotline involving considerable romance and/or smut, my apologies but you will have to look elsewhere. It's not something I'm comfortable writing.

There will always be some aspect of magic or the supernatural involved in these scenarios. As unfortunate as it is, I doubt I could retain interest otherwise. Some chaos is also to be expected.

I am a semi-literate to literate roleplayer. As such, my responses have a tendency to be quite long. Please ask if you would like me to write shorter responses. I won't be insulted. You may write a response of any length you like.

Your character's actions are guaranteed to have an impact on the plot progresses. I am open to hearing any ideas you may have regarding the plot as well. Please do not be offended in the event that they are not used, however, as I may have other things in mind.

I have absolutely no problem with neither reading nor writing gore, but I am aware that others may and would like to know your preferences on the matter.

PTK (Permission to kill) and PTSI (Permission to seriously injure) are, in my opinion, important parts of roleplay etiquette. Use them. Assuming it makes sense, you'll probably be granted permission, and I shall be asking in regards to your character as well. Please note that I will not ask if your character does something excessively dumb, such as jumping into a pit of acid or antagonizing someone ridicously more powerful.

One-on-one roleplays is what I am expecting for the majority of the book, but I am willing to handle a few small group chains. Please use digression when continuing without me.

If I don't respond within a few days, tag me. I'll be doing the same for you.

My Expectations

First and foremost, I expect to be asked should you have any requests. There's a fair chance I'm going to be willing to accommodate it, but I'm not going to know you'd like me to if you don't ask.

I'm unfortunately not that good at recognizing when people have a bad reaction to something, so please tell me if you as an author would rather I stop doing something. As much as I'd like to, I can't get better without knowing there's a problem in the first place.

Feedback and constructive criticism is always welcome. It helps me ensure I'm getting the reaction I want and improve for the future.

To get the grammar stuff out of the way, please somehow mark your out of character comments (( I use these )) and "dialogue" as different from your character's normal actions. If you could write in third person, too, that would be great.

It would be appreciated if you do not word your character's actions as a definite success- I will be deciding if they are successful or not, and it makes me feel bad to have my character dodge after the other one says "He cut off her head". Something along the lines of "He swung the heavy blade towards her neck, confident that she wouldn't be able to dodge this time" is much preferable.

As the narrator, I expect you to only control your character and respect my decisions- but I don't know your character. If they have any little gimmicks that you think would make something I did not work, please, tell me. I'm fairly easy to logic into things. Just don't abuse this, please.

While I am not requiring a character form, I would like to ask that you don't play god-tier characters (for balancing reasons) and that I be told of anything that is likely to influence the plot.

And no, you can't touch the deus ex machina button. It's mine. All mine.

...precious.
