"Veronica!"
I open my eyes to the sound of my dad yelling my name. "We're here child"
I rub my eyes and look around "oh okay"
We get out of the car and my dad walks up to this big house. Like I'm talking movie props big. He walks up to the front door and unlocks it, and yells inside for this person he named out to be 'JaHsEh'.
This boy walks out looking weird as hell bro. He wore black Adidas sweatpants, a white beater and some Adidas slides. He had his hair died to where half was blond and half was black. Kinda cute i guess. But what I instantly noticed was his tattoos and the chain he wore around his neck as a choker. Hmm....maybe the choker I found was his? I don't know we'll see.
"Veronica this is jahseh. Jahseh this is Veronica" my dad said looking between us.
Jahseh didn't say anything, neither did I. He just looked at me. Like I did something to piss him off, maybe he just has a resting bitch face.
I looked away unsure of what was about to go down.
My dad steps in front of me looking me in the eyes. "So your just not gonna talk? Okay fine. But Jah help Veronica get her stuff upstairs. "Mhmhmm" he starts getting my stuff and I just follow him. "Oh and tell Cleo to come down!! I want her to meet Ronnie"
Wow he actually said my name right.
Jahseh sets my stuff down in and empty room. I mean it has a dresser, a mirror and a bed so I guess it not that empty.
He walks out standing in my door way.
"Ma!!" He's quiet for a minute and it's still silent. "Maa!!!"
He yells again. Except she answered this time.
"Boy why you yelling for me like I'm stoke or sum"
"Cause you act like you don't know how to listen" he mumbled
"What you say!?" She gave him a Stern look
"Nun ma. Ben wanted you to meet his daughter I guess"
He turned his head looking me up n down licking his lips.
I was confused. Not like he isn't fine af or anything but wth.
"Oh baby you must be ronnie" she said all excitedly.
"Yeah I am. Who are you?" I ask her making a weirded out face.
"Oh I'm Cleopatra. I'm bens assistant. We work together and I've recently been going through some things so your father let me and the boys stay with him till I get back stable."
The boys? As in plural?! Omg
"Oh okay well it's nice meeting you Cleo" I gave her a small smile.
"Okay well Jah baby help her get her things unpacked. Me and ben will be back we have to go pick up Aiden.
She walks out leaving me and jahseh alone. He looks me up and down again smirking this time.
"Why do you keep doing that" I asked him
"Doing what?"
"That!"
"What?"
He knew exactly what I meant. I know because he kept smirking
I shook my head " nothing. You can leave now I have to unpack."
"Bet" that's all he said walking away.
"Wait um...jahseh?"
He huffed. Turning around "what" he gave me that death stare again. "Who is Aiden?" He looked to the side.
"My little brother" he said walking away.
I just silently nodded. He didn't see me though.
Let me get my stuff unpacked.
