What If.. (Kyungsoo x Nam Jihyun fic)

11: Lazy Love

Jihyun was running out of patience and clicked her tongue, "Anniya, oppa i'm hungry, let's eat. It tastes good already" she whined.

He turned back to her only to see her pouting which made him finally give up and obey her, "Arraso~" .

He lifted the pot from the stove and set it onto the table immediately. Jihyun inhaled the pleasant smell and she smiled widely. Kyungsoo laughed at her expression and lovingly caressed the top of her head before sitting onto his chair.

Jihyun made no complaints to his sudden show of affection. She was getting used to him doing that. Sometimes, he'd place a small kiss on her forehead, other times it would be her showing affection by giving him a warm embrace whenever he's busy reading a book or looking at his phone.

They'd been dating back in Japan and now for two weeks in Korea but everything had become so natural between the two of them that they don't even realize they've now started to act like a couple even when they haven't asked each other to be girlfriends or boyfriends.

She took a spoonful of the soup and blew on it before putting it into her mouth slowly. This time, she was way too hungry to return his affection because she had been waiting long enough for him to answer her question about the cancelled tour and all she got was him completely brushing off her question by making her quiet with his soup. And of course, the soup was enough to forget her own question.

When the spoon entered her mouth, she gave a thumbs up to him giving him a 'Nam Jihyun seal of approval' to the taste that he thought wasn't good enough.

"Yah! massiseyeo~" she expressed loudly.

It made him happy to know that she enjoyed his cooking. Making food for two people was indeed much easier than cooking for seven hungry boys back at the dorm.

After spending ten minutes gobbling down the soup, Jihyun's energy suddenly dissipated due to all the food that he'd given her, and so, she decided to rest her body on the couch by the living room and he too followed her.

Soon after, he let her head plop onto his lap comfortably and he appreciated this view of her. It was the first time he saw her like this while she laid beautifully with no makeup on on his lap and it suddenly reminded him of the day they were both filming a scene for the drama where she treated Wondeuk's sunburnt face.

Changed positions, real life.

Unaware of Jihyun who was starting to fall asleep on his lap, Kyungsoo stroked her hair and murmured, "I'd never thought I'd have my girlfriend falling asleep on my lap after feeding them when they should be taking care of me now" he mocked, not realizing he had just slipped in two very important words.

Her stomach dropped followed by her eyes opening almost immediately when she heard the two very new words he had just said. She shifted back to look up at him with raised eyebrows.

My. Girlfriend. Since when?! She scolded him in her head for throwing out such strong words at such a relaxing moment.

"Your girlfriend?" she asked him finally as her thoughts spiraled out of control.

I'm honestly so surprised people are still reading this and so ive decided to continue on even though it is really hard as a dandanie right now specially with the enlistment thing and all.
