Pain ripped through my body and I screamed, doubling over and noticing the veins in my hands were glowing green. A very neon, luminescent green. The violet light my eyes emitted slowly bled into the same green of my veins. The chaotic winds around us intensified, making everyone lose their balance and get carried into the walls.
"YOU NEED TO STOP THIS!" All Might's voice boomed loudly, his hand grabbing my wrist and refusing to let go. If anyone had an unbreakable grip, it was All Might. He wouldn't let me do anything to kill anyone, right? My quirk was uncontrollable. I couldn't make the winds die down and the earth below us began to shake as an earthquake rolled in. The windows ripped the top floor from the building altogether and left our floor roofless. My body became weightless and floated upward into the open sky, but All Might kept his hold on me. His grip was so tight that I felt my wrist snap but even then, he didn't give in.
What's going to happen now?
Aizawa
News of Akiyasu arriving had angered me enough, but when Endeavor started yelling over the radio that Magnetica was dead and Element was destroying everything in rage, I could no longer stay with Nemuri.
"I have to go back." I explained to Midnight, grunting as I got to my feet and began to stiffly run in the direction of outright chaos.
"And do what? You can't fight any villains in your condition." She began to follow after me, but she knew better than to grab me.
"I'm not dumb. I won't be fighting any villains. I need to get to Akiyasu and calm her down.
"Awww, that's so sweet!" Nemuri purred, but she quickly snapped out of it. "You can't be sure no villains will try to fight you or capture you again."
"Then come with me and make sure they don't."
"You are such an ass." She shook her head but stayed by my side regardless until we reached the building. Wind from several stories above ripped the air violently, sending gusts to the street below that whipped my hair in every direction.
"Is that because of Akiyasu?" Nemuri mumbled, her eyes wide and never leaving the scene above us.
"Yes. Do you have one of my scarves?"
Nemuri hesitated, indicating that she did have it but didn't want to give it to me.
"It's my scarf, Nemuri."
With a sigh, she reached into the bag she had draped over her shoulder and pulled the material from it's depths. "I was only supposed to give it to you if we absolutely needed you to fight."
"I'm not fighting." I retorted flatly, snatching the material from her hand and dropping it over my head. "Stay safe, Nemuri." I gave her a nod before my scarf came to life and I scaled the side of the building, leaving her on the ground. My ascension was short but as I reached the upper stories, it was harder for my scarves to get a grip in the hell winds and I resorted to my limbs. Once I reached the top, it took everything I had to pull myself over and not get blown away by the winds. The very top story was completely gone now and many heroes were fleeing with the villains they had arrested. In the middle of the completely decimated second to last floor was Akiyasu, being held back by All Might. Below them was the body of Magnetica, most likely being held in place by all the metal she constantly had on her person.
Using my forearm to block the dust and debris from getting in my eyes, my next steps forward were difficult, making the pain in my stomach worsen as I had to use all of my muscles to claw my way to her.
"Akiyasu!" I called out to her, but the roar of the wind was so deafening that even I couldn't hear my own voice. Inch by inch, I finally reached All Might and grabbed him by his arm, getting his attention. He was surprised to see me, but relief washed over his face soon after.
"She wasn't injected with much!" He yelled loud enough for me to hear. "I don't know why she's so uncontrollable!"
"It's because she's angry!" I yelled back, leaning back to look up at her. The wrist All Might has her by was broken and her veins were once again neon green. I couldn't see her face since it was turned up at the sky, but I needed to get her attention. I grabbed her ankle and jerked it down, making her snap her head down to look at me. Instead of being attacked, her face softened. She was still in there. All Might was right, she didn't have that much in her this time.
"Listen to me!" I yelled to her, giving her a soft expression of my own. "I know you're hurting but you can't let them do this to you. This is exactly what they wanted. Please stop this."
Their was pain on her face and that same pain was reflected in her voice as she began to speak. "I can't. It won't stop!"
Maybe I could erase it this time? It was worth a try? Activating my quirk then, my irises glew red and locked onto her face. In an instant, everything faded- her eyes, her anger, the wind, and the earthquakes. It all ended at once and she fell from the air like a sack of potatoes, but All Might managed to catch her before her body collided with the sharp metal flooring. Still, her veins were glowing green, but she couldn't use her quirk.
"Restrain her." I whispered to All Might, knowing she was going to be upset. He looked sad but pulled a special pair of handcuffs from his pant's pocket and clipped it onto her broken wrist. She yelped in pain, earning an apology from the number one hero. He set her down on her feet and brought her hands behind her back before cuffing her uninjured wrist.
She didn't say anything, she only began to cry, falling to her knees beside Magnetica and slumping over her body, her tears falling onto her mom's face.
Finally, I blinked, ending the effect and feeling the dry eye irritate my vision. Her quirk didn't activate now, she only remained out of her hero form as she sobbed.
"Akiyasu..." I started gently, reaching out to her, but she shrugged me off of her.
"Leave me alone." She hiccuped.
"We're here to help you." All Might interjected.
She didn't listen, all she could do was fall over and curl up against Magnetica as best as she could while still sobbing.
Neither of us dared to move her.
