You never thought that you would end up on a movie set, let alone in a major feature film. The Bohemian Rhapsody sequel. The movie you had been dreaming of since the first one came out. You had genuinely never acted before, and despite your mediocre audition, Brian May and Gwilym Lee both preferred you over the 50 other actresses. You were ecstatic, but so terrified at the same time. You knew you were going to be terrible; they were going to have to hire someone else. The weeks of re-shoots were going to hold everything up. These thoughts plagued your mind as you arrived on set at your call time. You were quickly whisked away to hair and makeup, where pictures of Anita hung around the mirror. Supplied by Brian, you assumed. She was beautiful. The casting directors said you had the perfect look for Anita, and Brian agreed, but you still had huge doubts about your acting skills. About half an hour in the chair and a wig fitting later, you took a long look at yourself. Yes, you were you, but you looked... sharper. Sharper nose, cheeks, jaw. You definitely saw Anita in yourself. A wave of confidence hit you and you smiled. Even your smile had somehow transformed into Anita's.

"My, how lovely are you," a familiar voice quipped. You gasped as you saw Brian appear in the mirror, a toothy grin plastered on his face. "You look just like my Anita."

You smiled and blushed. "Thank you, Dr. May. It's an honor to fill her shoes."

"Please, call me Brian," he rested a hand on your shoulder. "No need for formality, dear."

"Ok... Brian." You smiled. "I hope I can live up to your expectation."

"Stand up, dear, let me look at you." He took your hand and helped you out of the chair. You smiled and spun around, blushing at Brian's fond smile. He was clearly impressed.

"I must get a picture." He pulled out his phone and opened the camera, wrapping his arm around your shoulder. You leaned in close and smiled, resting your head on his shoulder, his curls tickling your neck and cheek. He took the picture and looked at it for review.

"This is going on Instagram. Mind if I tag you?"

     "Not at all." You smiled.

"Wonderful. Give me one minute. I think Gwil is on his way over to meet you. He told me to apologize for him, he wishes he could have met you sooner."

"Oh, I'm very excited to meet him." You smiled, your heart rate increasing. You had always had the biggest celebrity crush on Gwilym Lee. You jumped at the chance at auditioning to be in a movie with him, especially when it's the role of Brian's wife. You and Gwilym had never formally met, just a few phone calls and texts. The thought of him standing right in front of you made you anxious. You were snapped back to reality when Brian handed you his phone to type in your Instagram so he could tag you. You went ahead and made him follow you in the process, smiling a bit to yourself. He'll think he forgot, the poor old man.

"Sorry I'm late, bad hair day."

You froze. That was Gwilym's voice and you knew it. You were scared to turn, nervous that he would be unimpressed with you. Brian looked over at you, noticing your nervousness. A friendly concern washed over him, and he moved in front of you, pulling you into a hug. You took a deep breath. Brian smelled like pepper and fancy shampoo. The type that defined and volumized. Expensive, you were sure. It was enough to relax you. You looked up at Brian and he smiled warmly.

"You're going to do great. Gwilym will love you." He winked. You spun around and Brian rested his hands reassuringly on your shoulders.

"Gwilym, meet Y/N. Your Anita." He smiled.

Gwilym looked divine. The wig was luscious and positively Brian. Every curl and ringlet perfected. A little scruff this time aged him slightly, but his smile was still just as youthful. You knew it was Gwilym, but he radiated pure Brian.
