The moon isn't as simple as it looks

Chapter zero introduction

(First person)

I wake up,get ready and go down stairs. It seems pretty normal until you realize nobody is there. Nobody's making breakfast, reading the news paper or annoying me. You probably think My parents died or something but they didn't. They're at work, Half way across the country making a lot of money and my brother lives with my grandmother that lives in a different city.

I start to make breakfast for myself and text my best friend Soul, I text her "so where are we gonna meet up at our new school?" She responds by the time I've already sat down and started eating, "I think the front will work best cuz both of us don't know where we're going" I chuckle and respond "okay want me to stop at Stardollars and get you the usual?" She responds quickly "HELL YEAH!!! I love coffee!!! You know this!"I respond "okay. Cya in a bit." I finish and start to walk to school while listening to twenty one pilots and walking to the beat and I zone out.

I end up bumping into some guy with silver hair, blue eyes and a really masculine look. He's young he look like a few years ahead of me. "Woah! Watch out if you're not careful you might bump into the wrong person" I stand there frozen. I turn red and studder "I-I'm sorry I-I was J-Just-" he cuts me off "it's fine" he smiles kindly "just watch where you're going" he pats my head and let's me go turning around to talk to his friends.

I walk away slowly sort of embarrassed but mostly flustered. I go to the star dollar and buy coffee then wait at the front of the school. Ava comes running anxious to get her coffee "HIIII!!" She yells as she gives me a hug and takes her coffee. "Ready to go on to our first day of high school officially?" Ava says "I am" I smile as we go off and go to our first day of high school.
