I walked into my apartment with a note on my apartment door from my best friend, Hannah. Saying she will come over later. I was her maid of honor for her wedding. Her and her boyfriend got engaged two years ago. Her wedding was in a two months. That meant last minute plans her and her fiancé were adding. She also wanted to go over the schedule for trying on her dress.

I just shrugged and walked into my apartment after a long day of working on this photos. I had about a week to edit all of these pictures, and send them in to the producers and publishers. I wasn't even half way done.

I set my equipment on my couch, and then walked into the kitchen and looked at my left overs I have made over the last week or didn't finish at restaurants . I pulled out some left over pasta from this restaurant Hannah took me to last Sunday.

I haven't really looked at my phone all day, either, because of the work I needed to have done. I finally turned on my phone and saw a text message from Mena.

From Mena Massoud:
Hi, this is Mena. Today was fun! We should figure out another time to meet up. :)

I chuckled.

To Mena Massoud
Totally!! ;) It was so much fun! I can't wait for our next date!

I sighed. Maybe he was different than most of the other guys I have dated.

From Mena Massoud
What are you doing Saturday night? I was thinking we could go out then?

I quickly looked at my phone calendar to see if I had anything. I only had a family photo shoot at 3. I would probs be done by 5.

To Mena Massoud
Sounds perfect ! I have a photo shoot at 3, so I'll be done at around 5. Where are we meeting up?

From Mena Massoud
I'll pick you up at 7. It is going to be fun!

To Mena Massoud
No hints or clues?🤨🥺

From Mena Massoud
Nope. 😁 You will have to wait and see.

To Mena Massoud
Fine😔

From Mena Massoud
Text you later! I have to go record the soundtrack for the movie. :)

I just let out a big grin. I haven't felt this way for a guy in such a long time. I just smile as I put my phone down and took out my pasta out of the microwave as I sat down at the small table.

"Okay!" Hannah barged into my apartment. "The dress store is literally behind schedule so I won't be getting my dress until a month before the wedding which doesn't give it enough time to make adjustments if needed!" She ranted.

"How did you get into my apartment?" I asked.

"I know where your hidden key is." She explained.

"Okay then," I nodded. "Anyways, why is the dress store behind?" I asked in all curiosity.

"Apparently some other bride who put in a last minute order had to have her dress before mine and they put a hauler on mine!" She whined.

"Dang, that sucks, I'm sorry." I paused. "I'm sure she didn't realize it would effect you." I said sarcastically.

"It's such a big deal to me that everything goes perfect!! I need this to be the day I remember for the rest of my life!" She complained.

"It will be perfect! Trust me!" I reassured her. "Everything will fall into place, so don't let your inner bride-zilla take over."
