After five years I start having dreams seeing Joshua rise from the ground. Each night it got worse and worse. Finally I wake up and see William staring at me. "What's wrong?" Kakuzo was at work. "I had a premonition of Joshua again. He came back and I couldn't stop him from returning. But the crazy thing was that he was helping me!" William hugs me and rubs my back. "Helping against what?" He asks. I shake my head. "I don't know! If he was helping me it must be very bad!" I start crying. "Okay we will go back and look to see if any of this might happen." The next day William, Tony, and I all went back to the spot where Joshua and I had fought. "There is where he died. But he died in a weird way. When he died I absorbed some of his strength and his abilities." William reaches for his blades. "Something doesn't seem right." He says. Tony nods and gets his pistols ready. "This feels like a trap." He whispers. I smell in the air what seems to be death. "Ew, It smells gross here now." I turn around and get grabbed by a ghoul that throws me into a wall. "It's an ambush!" Tony yells. Just then Tony gets blindsided by an orc and William is tackled by a goblin. "Halt!" Someone yells. The monsters stop and bow to the creature. My eyes widen as I see what looks to be me. "W...Who are you and why do you look like me?" I yell. "We are you but nothing like you at the same time. We are Constance. We are one and all. We are..." Just then a "BOOM" erupts and all of the creatures are executed. "Who's there?" William bellows out. "We are friends! You may not recognize me but the little goddess should recognize me right little sis?" The woman says. She pokes her head out and waves. "I don't kno..." I freeze no longer able to speak or move. "Mary are you okay?" She says. William notices that one of the ghouls claws were covered in metal from the GodSlayer. "She's been paralyzed! We need to get her back to the temple. They have a cure." The younger looking woman says motioning for people to help us. One man grabs the ghoul who was still alive but unable to attack. "Let go of me humans! Lord Merrick will kill you all!" The ghoul hisses. after an hour I finally move my body. "Mary how did you do that? No God or anyone has been able to come back without the cure." I shrug. "Now tell me why you called me little sis? My family are all at our homes." A sigh comes from her mouth. "Father must not have told you. I am Kira. Your half sister. Your mother and my father Zeus had sex a very long time ago. She gave birth to me and my brother Joshua. Not the same one you fought. My brother was killed by him. Your mother and your father both were special. Just like them you are gifted with powers beyond that of any mere mage or God. Your powers come from the first God. That God is no longer alive. His essence is in you now. You are the only one to inherit his gifts." "I know about my powers. I've used them once against Joshua and I almost died. That power is dangerous. I don't even know how to activate it without help from multiple Gods and they lost their energy. They are still weak now because of it." I hold up the scarab. "This thing hasn't left my side since then. It is supposed to only work once but it has worked more than that." Once we get back to the house we notice that it had been destroyed. "Where is everyone?" I yell terrified and thinking the worst. "Mary! It was the monsters!" Tony yells seeing that the barrier to the seller was still standing while a horde of monsters lie dead against the door. "It looks like they made it!" William says with a sigh. The door opens and a large monster comes out but it was holding my sister. "Tiffany! What are you doing you monster?" I yell as I lunge at it. Just then The beast transforms back down to Lacy. I stop right before I stab into her. "What happened?" I say worried. "Well a monster came here and a portal formed summoning a bunch of monsters. They were well calculated in their attack and Lindsey was severely wounded and Tiffany was knocked out. I gave some of the blood to Lindsey used to heal and cure vampires. I got hit and it caused my beast mode to react and take over. I got everyone in safe but we couldn't save my left arm." I notice blood dripping down where she was missing half her arm. "I can fix it!" I say as I wrap her in my sheet. "This is the shroud of renewal. It heals any injuries up to any that are fatal." Her arm heals but only barely as it was only broken. Lindsey came out holding her arm still dazed. "Well I am glad you are safe Mary but who is Lord Merrick?" She asks. "I have no idea but this woman showed up. She said she is our half sister. The monsters were spouting nonsense about this Lord Merrick guy. That's all I know." I gasp. "They did have a weapon that Joshua had! I think Joshua might know who they were talking about!" "But He's dead. How will you get ahold of a deity who has died?" Tony mentions. "Well he isn't truly dead. His powers were put inside me when he said it was up to me now. Maybe I can use that power to bring him back here." Lindsey studies a book she had acquired from Joshua's hideout. "Well from the books he owned he was planning to revive someone. This book talks about raising a God from oblivion and making them whole again." I grab the book and read through half the pages as I scream and a rune appears on my head. The ground starts to burn in the same shape of the rune. "The rune says father of life and death shall be found in the darkness where light shines brightest and true." Lindsey says "What does that mean?" I ask She pulls out a box. In the box was a key. "This key has a rune symbolizing the father of life and death. I was born with the same rune on my inner thigh. I think that the clue involves my blood and this key to point us in the right direction." Lindsey cuts her hand and applies her blood to the key. It lights up and shoots off a beam in the direction as Tony. "It must be that way." Tony points. He heads over to the direction of where he had put his cache of weapons. "The beam is following you!" I say. Tony looks at the key as it flies landing in his hand. His hand burns as he can't remove the key from his hand. "Help! I can't get it off me!" The key evaporates leaving a mark in the shape of the key. "Where light shines brightest and true. That must mean Tony is the key to getting us to the location." We watch as Tony points to the west. "That way. I can see it. The temple of darkness is close." After we get to the ruins of an old monastery where we look confused. "This is an old church, how is it filled with..." Lindsey is cut off as she notices vampires praying to a statue. I look closer and the statue looks like Tony. "They are praying to Tony?" I whisper. "No that is the father of life and death. The ancestor of our bloodline was the one who helped create life and helped with killing those who were seen as useless? Why wasn't I able to find this in any family records?" The vampires see us and lunge towards us and pause instantly. "Master Tony! We thought you died twelve hundred years ago!" The high priestess says. Tony shakes his head. "We are his descendants. I am Tony but I am not him." He points. "Tony you may not see it but you are him. You have his soul. You are the leader of all of us here. What you say goes." She bows and smiles. "Do you not recognize me?" She said. Tony's eyes widen. "You! You're not a vampire though! I checked!" She smiles more. "I was but before you died you had given me the powers of being human again but I was still a vampire. I could not die by normal means. I could only die like vampires do yet I was immune to the sun and UV lights. I was able to get pregnant too and I waited forever to finally be with you again." Tony's eyes went from that of shock to anger. "You never told me any of this! I loved you and you pretended to be human! I thought I knew you better than this." Tony looks away. "I'm still your wife. I didn't want to overwhelm you with new information." "Elisabeth please tell me those people aren't evil." She nods. "They were all evil but I showed them the temple. There was a rebellion and a war broke out these are the newest beings who serve you. Your other servants are out trying to keep peace while beasts fight and act like Lord Merrick is the real you. He is a fallen god who has been in hiding. When Joshua took out most of the Gods and lost to Mary he came out and started organizing a coup against humanity and the rest of the Gods." I walk over limping slightly. "Joshua gave me his powers and This rune on my chest can revive him. How are we to unlock it to help us take down Merrick?" She shakes her head. "You have only found the first clue. Tony must become one with his own body and soul. Once he can remember who he is the next clue shall reveal the next location. Tony told me that there was ten locations. He needs to be dead but alive. There will be one shot at this and if he fails the world shall shatter killing anyone who is not a deity. If he succeeds Merrick will sense this and come here full force. Only way out of here is for you to remember. No one shall leave until then." Tony pulls out a dagger and throws it at the wall causing a barrier to hide the presence of the temple. "Let's just get this over with." He sighs and lays down on the pedestal waiting for the trial to begin. Within minutes his mind was transported into the past where he saw our ancestor talking to Merrick. My powers allowed me to watch as Tony went through his out of body experience. "Merrick you can't take over the world we helped create! They have been given free will and to use such grotesque creatures to do so is against the Gods wishes! You are nothing but evil in this world! Lord Joshua forbid the use of this and warned you not to meddle in the lives of the humans!" He says. "I am stronger than Lord Joshua and the other Gods! I have gained infinite power! Not even the Titans can boss me around anymore! I am even more powerful than you brother!" Just then Merrick summons a power which combined every type of beast and ability into his own body. Merrick no longer looking human was just the shallow shade of what he was. He struck Tony in the heart with the Godslayer blade mortally wounding him. As Tony lied there dying all of the Gods even Joshua used their powers entrusted into Tony to give him one last instant of life and he used his own body to trap Merrick in the underworld for all eternity. Over what felt like millennia to Tony and I we saw everything that happened up until Merrick was freed from his prison. "Merrick is our ancestors brother?" I yell. Tony wakes up waves of energy bellowing around the room trapped by the barrier. "Merrick is no longer human nor God. He is the embodiment of evil. Only hate fills his mind. His soul is stained black and must be stopped for good." My eyes widen as Tony grabs my by the throat. "Mary I am sorry but your body must endure death to bring back Joshua. This is the only way we can bring back a God from oblivion." Tears running down my face as I struggle. "I can't breathe." I stutter unable to get away. He then thrusts a blade with the symbol of rebirth right through my stomach twisting it as it causes me to scream in agony. I fall limp unable to do anything as I start dying in front of everyone. "Tony stop! She's your sister!" Everyone screams. It was too late as I had bled out. My blood started swirling as Joshua's body started to rise. The scarab wraps around my wrist as I gasp for air the wound still open. "What did I do!" Tony yells snapping back to himself holding the blade he had just used to murder me with. "Thanks to this scarab Mary will always come back." Said Lindsey as she grabbed me and healed my wounds. "Tony you asshole! You should have warned me I was about to be executed!" I blurt out still crying. "Just because I have special powers doesn't mean I don't feel pain!" Tony looks at me as he shakes his head. "That wasn't me who did it! It was our ancestor!" Joshua grunts. "And are we all done arguing or are we going to discuss the elephant in the room?" He says. "Joshua you gave me your powers for a reason! Why would you have done that for me?" I say. He looks around. "May I have some water. I am a mortal now." holding out a bottle of water to him since he was now mortal. He drinks the water and smiles. "The reason I gave you my powers was because you are pure. You are the only one my darkness may never take control. It took me over because I gained the powers unnaturally due to Merrick. I was once one of the most pure of the Gods. I let Merrick live and he offered to help me get stronger to protect my first love. He gave me the strength and it ended up killing her. She was the only girl able to take him out. You look, sound, act, and smell just like her. I knew you wouldn't let my powers get into the wrong hands as well." My ears flick curiously. "Do you have any way to show us the girl?" Lindsey asks. He nods and musters up his powers of creation and create a clay sculpture of the girl. "She was only eighteen when she was taken from me." We all in surprise gasp. "She looks like me! Even down to the ears and tail!" He nods. "That is the number one reason I didn't finish you off when I had the shot. You are why I couldn't destroy humanity nor the universe." Blushing heavily I look over at William who was glaring at Joshua. "I am off limits Joshua. I am with two people already. I love them both and I know that there is another God who wants me too. Why is everyone in love with me or had someone they loved who looked just like me even down to my personality." After the small talk is finished a loud bang can be heard above us. "We need to go little goddess." He says. "Tony do you have the portal gun on you?" I say throwing an emerald up creating a larger barrier around us to slow down the attacks. Tony looks around in his bag and finds the portal gun. "Let's get home quick!" He yells shooting a portal to the basement. "hurry!" Everyone runs through as we all end up falling onto each other. "Hey watch where you put those hands pervert!" I squeal feeling someone groping my ass. "Oh sorry sis!" Tony says. After we get everything situated we start planning our next move. "So Joshua do you have any of your strengths at all?" He shakes his head. "My powers need to recharge. It may take a few months." A sigh comes from everyone as I look for our boxes of MRE meals. "Aha! I found it! Joshua eat this." "What is it?" He takes a bite. "Its a cheese tortellini meal. It helps revitalize your body so you can train longer. Use these to build up your strength again." He nods and starts training his new weak body to stand up to his powers. Over a week he seemed to only injure himself every time. Within a month his body was unable to work and he was on bed rest. "Joshua maybe your powers are not working because you are not able to remember why you had them in the first place. Maybe look deep into your soul. As deep as you can go and bring out that feeling. Try to picture the one thing you can't live without in this world and fight." Lindsey say. "How will that help? I loved someone but they are not with me. And I care about everyone that I had killed. These powers took over me and I couldn't control it. My original powers were passed on to another god when I took on these powers so I don't know how to bring out those powers of old. The only thing I know that can break my curse was our father and creator of our universe. He was killed because he was the only being to know where the lock was located. The one who killed him was our mother. She made sure my powers would never be unlocked again because if I had them I could have destroyed the universe. Last thing I heard was that the person I fall in love with will be the future of my life. I can't move now and I don't know who my love is anymore." He sighs. "Your love may be closer than you think." I say as I nod over towards my sister Tiffany. "She has been checking on you since you came back to life. Whenever you got hurt she was the first to heal you from death." I move closer and whisper in his ear. "And she gets flustered around you." His face turns red. "What? You are messing with me aren't you! Oh ha ha ha let's make fun of a crippled God because he almost destroyed the world!" I smack him on the forehead. "OW OW OW!" I giggle and call Tiffany over. "He needs you to heal him." I wink making her get flustered and blushing more. "N...no! I don't do anything dirty!" I walk after I flick her forehead. "You are the one thinking dirty here sis. I only said to heal him. Now don't try anything dirty okay?" I say winking again. "Hey! That hurts you know! Not everyone has the power of a god. Humph!" Everyone bursts out laughing. After an hour in the training room Joshua comes out ready to train. "Okay Joshua you will be learning how to fight like a human being." I pull out a pistol and hand it to him. "How will this kill anything?" He glares. "Everyone has energy. Even an ordinary human can infuse his energy into whatever weapon they use. Try using your chakras to infuse your bullet.
