First Love Letter

~My world has been turned upside down and completely shattered since you've walked into my life.I thought perhaps I was blessed because of  such a pleasant surprise, yet everything you touch turns to dust. The white roses I've adorned myself in, you have turned to black. I am fool for loving such a paradox. You were my pleasant nightmare, but I know you are someone else's sweet chaotic dream. You were but a glimpse of hope, that I failed to seize as you passed by. You could have been mine, but I've convinced myself that I don't deserve a man of your caliber. I've learned to tolerate the beast just so I can taste your sweet nonchalant beauty. You were merely playing hide and seek while I was playing for keeps.Every night I wrestle with the mere thought of you, possibly laying next to another. I toss and turn because my pure mind has been deluded by the cruel thought of your heart belonging to another. If I could just beg time to rewind, and to have that moment with you again,I would have convinced you harder that we were meant to be. But now it's much too late and I have to accept our twisted heartless fate, a destiny wrapped in bliss and turmoil. You were just a mistake, that I had foolishly made, while thinking we were meant to be.You may have ended up being a wrong turn, that I stupidly made, but you were without a doubt...my favorite mistake.So, my beloved ghost, let me sleep easy tonight, since I've said my peace.  -Juliet
