Finding Help

Dante's POV

Today I am 17 years old. Today is also the day I'm supposed to set sail, and to find my destiny.

Unfortunately, I succumbed to my procrastination...and now I have no crew, no map, and no idea of what I'm doing.
I don't even know if I'm at the right port!

So, here I am, screaming my arse off for any last minute crew members. Screw it, I need some kind of crew or I'll die on my ship!

The street is loud with the sounds of shouting, singing (?), and more yelling. I'm just another lunatic on the streets screaming, with no one to hear me over everyone else.

As I'm screaming over everyone else for 'Extra help on my ship', I get shoved to the ground.

"Hey, Scum. Watch where your going!" I groan inwardly. I know who this guy is just by his voice. I sit up, and glare at the man. "Shut it, Ghost. No one needs to hear your bullsh**." Ghost rolls his eyes, "Your the one screaming for help. I won't be surprised if I hear about your death in the paper next month...that is, if you get that far." He turns, and strolls away. I stand up, mumbling some very harsh words to myself.

"Well isn't he a prick? I'd love to pound him into the dirt." I turn to face a beautiful lady. She looks to be about 5'6", Vitiligo skin, long and wavy brown hair...Her eyes are a nice shade of light green. She walks up to me. "I heard you needed help?" I nodded, dusting the dirt off my pants. "I'm Dante, and I'm looking for a crew for my ship...it's sailing in about an hour." She laughs, and stares at me. "Seriously? You just thought about getting a crew now?"
I shift nervously. "Yeah? So?" She shakes her head, laughing again, "I'm York, and I'm a trained medic." She shakes my hand. "I'm going off to the market to pick up some medical items. See you around, Dante." She struts away, leaving me dumbfounded.

"Well, I guess I got my first helping hand?"
