Patches(aka Jade) and Amber are in high school rn, while patches is in class she has a brief flashback to when she was in the wild as a cub. The teacher snaps her out of it and asks her a question. She answers it, wrongly, and the class is quite. She corrects her self quickly and the class goes on.
The bell rings and Patches heads to the cafeteria, where she meets Amber and Kenna. Flashback to when patches and amber first meet, and same with Kenna.
Sadie joins them and so does Kelli.
Suddenly a loud bang sounds from the hall, everyone turns and a person wearing a cloak walks in and starts shooting.
Everyone screams and runs for the fire exit door.
Jade and Amber run with them, but get separated.
Jade runs home, and calls amber to meet at BellWoods. In the woods they have a small hut, where they go and talk. They kinda grew out of going their, but this was an emergency.
Amber and Jade meet their and discuss what happened.
A shooter; a terroirist; whatever it was, it wasn't good.
They decide to grab their swords; and Ambers scythe, and walk to the school and find out.
It was dangerous yes, but it needed to be done.
Flashback to the past; when amber and patches first met.
They were both out casts in their clans, for being half human half animal.
And the ability to shift from human to animal; and everything in between.
They both were hiding out in the woods when Amber walked near where patches was hiding out. They talked and found out they had a lot in common; more than anyone could ever know in fact;
