Gone...

One - I

    I was a normal kid, playing in the streets. Friday nights like these, well I seem to always party. Kids like me like to party in the streets for some reason though, it's just normal.

    Also,  I was talking to my friends out in the street, too. We were just messing around. I was fourteen, so what was there to do when it's a Friday night anyways? Sit at home, and be bored? No.

    Another one of my friends came, Lukas.

    "Hey Brian, what's up?"

    "Oh, nothing really. I'm just tired of school."

    I really was tired of school, truly. It wasn't ever fun, and most of all, I didn't learn anything. I would once in a while do algebra, which was my favorite subject. I grabbed my notebook from my bag in my locker. Commonly I would hear the bell for the tardy signal, although i was never late or tardy. Absence just wasn't my thing. Then when math time came, I would get a little excited. But still, in algebra I didn't learn anything. School was just too easy.

    "Same. Well I better go. I need to have dinner,"

    "Bye! Peace!"

    "Bye!" said Lukas.

    That moment I went into a flash. Flashes of other people leaving from me. Even my parents, my mother or my father. This of course wasn't reality but it seemed realistic. Was it my future? Again, I daydreamed. I imagined my mother standing in front of me, then the next second, she was gone. Pushed by a figure I couldn't seem to process. He was too fast.

    I went back, stepping back into the mortal world. Regaining my balance and all the basic skills to survive. I felt a strange urge. Then, I looked over, randomly. What lied across the distance from me was horrifying. It was too late.

    I was dead, for sure...
