I sat down on the brown warn out couch and proped my feet up on one of the pillows shutting my eyes. I heard a bedroom door open and i slowly opened my eyes and sitting up. I rubbed my wary eyes and got off the couch and yawned. "You tierd?" He asked " a little" i replied walking to the kitchen, i grabbed one of the macaroni and cheese boxes starting dinner for my brother. "Go." I said, he did as he was told leaving the kitchen. I sighed ' what am i going to do now?' I thought to myself. There was a knock on the door, that turned into a loud banging. I ran into the livingroom only to be stoped half way by my brother he put his finger up to his mouth making a 'shhh' motion then we ran as quietly as we could hiding, we went seprate ways so he would'nt catch etheir of us. There was a big bang then loud footsteps that made me hug my legs tighter 'i hope brandon is ok' i thought trying to hold back tears. Louder footsteps then a sudden stop. No more footsteps then a click of a gun outside of my hideing space and a gunshot.
' is that it, am i dead? Wait no no no no' i hear more footsteps but a very fast pase.
I hurried out to see my bleeding brother sprawled out on the floor gasping for air. I jumped down to reach him. I pulled my shirt over my head and on the side of his chest. Tears streamed down my face and on his stomach. "Stay with me please your the only other person i have!" I yelled at him. He slightly smiled and pain crossed his face. "Remember me please?" He pleaded i nodded my head. I grabbed my phone out of my back pocket and dialed 911 "this is 911 what is your emergency?" The young woman asked calmly " m-my brother has been s-s-shot PLEASE HELP HIM, PLEASE!" I pleaded for my brothers dear life " where is your location right now?" She asked "_____street, please come right away! Hes dying!" I screamed at her "ok they are on their way, can you stay on the phone with me ma'am."
