The Asgard King 1

Start from the beginning

Hemdall: He'd make a very handsome cold drink.

Odin: Hemdall!

Hemdall: And just think! Whenever he gets cold, you cold take him out to freeze!

Strange: Hmm...ah heh heh heh heh heh...Thor.

Thor: Dad! Daad! Come on, dad, we gotta go. Wake up!

Random Asgardian: Oomph!

Thor: Sorry!...Oop. Dad? Daad. Dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad—

Frigga: Your son...is awake...

Odin: Before sunrise, he's your son.

Thor: Dad? Daad! Come on, dad! Daa—whoa! You promised!

Odin: Okay, okay. I'm up. I'm up.

Thor: Yeah!

Odin: Look, Thor. Everything the light touches is our kingdom.

Thor:Wow.

Odin: A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Thor, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.

Thor: And this will all be mine?

Odin: Everything.

Thor: Everything the light touches. What about that shadowy place?

Odin: That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, Thor.

Thor: But I thought a king can do whatever he wants.

Odin: Oh, there's more to being king than...getting your way all the time.

Thor: There's more?

Odin: Thor...Everything you see exists together, in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance, and respect all the realms— from the ice cold realm to the hottest realm of all.

Thor: But, dad, don't we fear the hot realm?

Odin: Yes, Thor, but let me explain. When we die our bodies may go to Muspelheim. And the fire giants live in Muspelheim. And so we are all connected in the great circle of life.

Hemdall: Good morning, sire!

Odin: Good morning, Hemdall!

Hemdall: Checking in... with the morning report.

Odin: Fire away.

Hemdall: Well! The talk from the warriors 3 is that the elves are in a bit of a spot...

Odin: Oh, really?

Hemdall:...And the magicians are going  haywire over this. Of course, the Avengers are acting like they're above it all...

Odin: What are you doing, son?

Thor: Pouncing!

Odin: Let an old pro show you how it's done.

Hemdall: The fire giants are bothering the snowy realm. I told the snow giants to forget it but they can't.

Odin: Hemdall would you turn around?

Hemdall: Yes sire. The runners are always hard up, but I always say...

Odin: Stay low to the ground.

Hemdall: Runners never prosper....

Thor: Okay, stay low to the ground, right...yeah...

Hemdall: What's going on?

Odin: A pouncing lesson.

Hemdall: Oh very good. Pouncing. Pouncing?!
Oh no, sire, you can't be serious...oh...this is so humiliating.
