      |Chapter 2 - Then Reality Pulled Her In|

Avery picked at the lasagna she had on her plate. "Do you think I'm crazy Ash?" Eating Lunch in a small Cafe downtown wasn't in her plan, but she couldn't help it since her parents started working again. They also happened to have no food in the house.

"Well I think this has happened at-least once to all mates.. Right?" Ash seemed baffled and lost. She didn't know what to say to feed Avery's sadness. She didn't look like she's convinced.

Avery gave her friend a Are-You-Serious look. "What Mate start's seeing visions of their mate and being creeped around like that?" The only way Avery could look at it, is if her mate was stalking her, but that's literally impossible.. I think.

"Technically it's not stalking." Ash pointed her spoon at Avery then took a big bite of the ice cream she had. Ash is talking while ice cream is literally dropping out of her mouth, "I meam he ish yur mate Ave."

Avery sighed, "You're right." She stabbed her lasagna and took the last bite of it.

"I know what will cheer you up." Ash grinned from ear to ear.

"It better not be something crazy like last time." Avery picked her feet up, ordering a chocolate smoothie for take out before heading out with her friend.

    "Oh don't worry." She winked.

The surprised ended up inviting people to Avery's house to supposedly 'hang out', since her parents are literally always away from the house, but then...

The sensible sound of rock music filled Avery's ears as she cringed a bit. She felt like she needed to escape the group filled with sweaty bodies moving against each other and anonymous people. Ash and her friends thought it was a nice idea to hold a party just so she could cheer up. Inviting her out to do stuff is a yes, but holding a party in her own house is a big no no. The music was killing her ears.

Avery tried making her way through the once clean house, now trashed and cans everywhere with food on the floor. Now has Ash once told people to keep the place clean? Nope.

"Ash!" Avery made herself out of the crowd, finally being able to breathe. "I thought you said it was only a few friends. Not the whole town!"

"I think you're over thinking it Ave. I only invited the people that's in our class." Ash acted a bit to mild about the situation, considering Avery doesn't do to well with big crowds and a family yelling at her for trashing the house.

"Ash remember what happened last time?" The memory of people tearing up her parent's stuff popped inside her head, and her poor stuff to.

"Yeah. Remember when you found you know what... on your bedroom floor?" Ash replied, "I'm sorry about that. It wont happen again."

"Hopefully not.. and what is with this music!?" Avery groaned. The music drove her out of her mind, but Ash disappeared in to the pile of people before Avery could get an answer.
