A few days later Anna woke up unusually early and made her way to the kitchen to get a secret chocolate breakfast before her sister makes her eat anything un-chocolaty or even worse her vegetables. As she sat down and ate she couldn’t help but remember the announcement Elsa made after the visit of the mystery messenger…

“No one will be allowed to enter this castle without proof of his or her identification and from where they are being sent.” The castle maids and servants nodded.

And since that announcement Elsa had starting acting paranoid; she would jump at the slightest noise and had an increasing temper in court. She wondered what Elsa was doing right now.

Meanwhile:

Elsa was in her office acting paranoid. She tried to calm down but she couldn’t. She knew that this messenger meant nothing but she couldn’t help but worry

……………………………………………………

Later in the afternoon

Elsa took a break from all her work and was strolling along the royal gardens looking at the white roses. She heard a ruffle in the leaves near her but brushed it off trying to follow Anna’s advice “You have to loosen up a bit no one in their right mind would try to kill you.” Maybe not the best advice but it did calm her nerves a little until she heard a thud from the trees behind her as leaves drifted to the ground.

Now she panicked.

“Hello is anyone their” She called out. She probably looked like an idiot talking to a tree.

And before she knew it, she felt a hard thud on the back of her head. She fell down. Tired to look up but someone was holding her face flat against the ground gagging her. She started seeing black spots until she lost sight and stopped struggling.

……………………………………..................

Elsa woke up with a pounding feeling in her head. She tried looking around but her vision was blurred up. She closed her eyes and until the fuzziness went away. Elsa looked around and recognized this as her room. She saw Anna, Kristoff and Olaf on the sofa in front of her. “Anna” Elsa said just above a whisper and realized this is her sister Anna she’d have to do a lot better.

She spoke again louder, “Anna”

Anna woke up when she heard someone say her name.

The doctor checked her up and said that she was alright but may be a little light headed. Once he left Olaf asked, “Are you ok Elsa?” but before she could reply she saw an envelope on the side of her table. Anna noticed and said, “That envelope was lying with you when we found you by the trees we tried to open it but it wouldn’t budge.” Elsa didn’t reply but grabbed the envelope and tried to rip it open but failed. She then froze it and to her amazement the envelope melted revealing a letter on Golden paper. It said,

“You should have accepted that marriage proposal when you had the chance, not tell your guards to kick my messenger out of you palace. You don’t know who you’re dealing with. If you think you’re so special then you’re wrong because I have something as well. The next time I attack you, you won’t be so lucky.”

Elsa had an idea who sent it. There was only one person in the world who hates her enough to send an assassin to kill her. She shouldn’t have been scared by this threat she’s received threats before but she could not shake of the feeling of dread this letter bought.

Anna noticed the fear in her sister’s eyes and gently took the letter to see what had set her off. As soon as she read it, it fell to the floor.

The next moment Elsa was out of bed and moved towards the door she was in middle of the corridor when Anna’s hand dropped on her shoulder. “Where are you going?” Anna asked as she stopped Elsa.

“Getting ready for a possible war if the answer pleases you” Elsa replied. Her sister knew she was not kidding around mostly because at times like this she never did. As Elsa started walking off again “Elsa wait you can’t be serious.” Anna said, “You shouldn’t even be afraid of him. He can’t even hurt you.” The last sentence infuriated Elsa. “Well Anna I don’t suppose making me unconscious for three day would count as hurting me.”

“Come on Elsa” Anna said starting to persuade her to not make a foolish mistake.

“Look Anna it doesn’t worry me that he knocked me out but what does make me worry is that he did it with such ease and was able to enter and leave the castle without even being seen.”

“But Elsa you should at least see if his kingdom even knows of what he did.”

“ENOUGH!” Elsa screamed and for the first time in one year she lost control of her powers and sent spikes of ice flying towards the wall and window shattering it. Anna looked at her in disbelief that she actually lost control of her powers like that and saw that her emotions still controlled her powers more then she would like. But when Anna saw the tears rolling out of her sister’s eyes as she whispered I’m sorry over and over again. Anna took a deep breath and hugged her saying, “Its ok it’s ok.” She was surprised that she did not fight back.

Anna could not believe that, that letter made Elsa so scared she lost control like that. When Elsa and Anna reached the throne room where there servants saw the whole show but pretended that they did not see anything. The where about to get back to work but before they could Elsa said, “Uh huh.” Anna was hoping that Elsa would not give the orders to start a war with the southern isles and was relieved when she heard her sister say, “Send a message to the king of the Southern isles and telling him that we must meet at once as this is about a member from his family.”
