Stand Your Ground

              Life’s journey is full of hardships but there are hidden beauties in it. It chipped you here and there but through the passing of time it will become a sight to behold. Like diamonds, it will be sharpened to reflect the lightest of lights. Then you will smile and realize you’ve become a fiery creature capable of fighting while staying compassionate and true to yourself. It may take some time or even a lifetime but that’s fine there was no deadline. You don’t have to bind yourself with the human point of view. Open yourself up to the calling of God and his universe! Look up and see, the skies are vast and full of stars and wonders. Raise your head and admire the radiance of the sun, the gentleness of the Moon. Notice that even the tiniest speck of dust can move with little help from the wind. So you too can move and will not stay in a rut. Stand and fight, grovel on the ground if you must but fight with all you’ve got. It will be a long grueling battle however take heart, God is with you and you will triumph over it.
