Sadie's POV
I woke up next to Alex on the couch we were both in our undergarments it took me a moment to realise what happened. I got up trying not to wake up Alex and threw on a oversized hoodie. I don't know wether I should be here when she wakes up I put my trousers on and picked my stuff up and walked towards the door as soon as I went to open the door I heard a voice
Alex: where you going?
Sadie: thought i would leave before you woke up
Alex: why?
Sadie: it was a mistake Alex we must of just had some sexual tension left
Alex: that's not it and you know it
Sadie: Alex.. you know we can't. Do you remember what happened
Alex: yes but no one knows about us
Sadie: Alex no
Alex: wait before you go
Sadie: what
Alex got off the couch went upstairs and came back down with a hoodie and gave it to me
Sadie: it's the hoodie I gave you the last time we saw each other
Alex: yeah I never forgot you Sadie
Tears filled my eyes I wanted to stay but I knew what would happen and I knew I couldn't
Sadie: Alex I'm so sorry
I ran outside I couldn't stop the tears from falling down my cheeks when I made it home I was soaked in tears and I realised I was wearing Alex's hoodie I didn't want to take it off. I just went upstairs I could hear my mom and dad calling my name but I didn't care I just went upstairs and cried in my pillow. My dad walked in
Dad: hey honey you alright
Sadie: y-yeah dad I'm alright
He came and sat on my bed and saw how red my eyes were from crying he just wrapped me in a tight embrace
Dad: Sadie what happened
Sadie: I saw Alex dad and I spent the night at her house
Dad: you two find it impossible to stay away from each other don't you
Sadie: yeah we do but what would mom say
Dad: don't worry about her
Sadie: but what if she finds out and it happens all over again
Dad: I swear I won't let her touch you
Sadie: you can't do anything if you get arrested again
Dad: your mother is evil
Sadie: I know
Dad: that isn't your hoodie
Sadie: it's Alex's I was gonna throw it out
Dad: keep it. It might change your mind about abandoning Alex
Sadie: I don't want to hurt her again dad
Dad: love comes with pain
Sadie: I don't love her I don't love anyone
Dad: your a tough girl with a tough shell no one could break and who broke that shell Sadie
Sadie: Alex did
Dad: exactly only love can do that
Sadie: I don't know anymore dad I've changed
Dad: that's your moms fault for what she did to you
Sadie: I know but Alex what if mom tries to hurt her
Dad: when I have made enough money you and me are moving out and you will never have to see her again I promise
Sadie: thanks dad I love you
Dad: I love you too. Now get some sleep
I drifted off to sleep in Alex's hoodie
