Chapter 4- Coffee

I sat down at a table in the back of Starbucks it was kinda full because there open late tonight and the free wifi. At almost every table there someone with a computer. "So tell me about yourself." Dan said. "Well I'm Jenna I make music other than that I'm ordinary." I said looking at my coffee cup. "I beg to differ your much more than that." He paused than continued "Your smart, kind, and amazing at writing music which can't be taught." I looked at him "Oh really than tell me about yourself than." I replied kind of sassy with a bit of sarcasm.

Dans POV

Tell her about myself. I'm so boring. Compared to her I'm nothing she's flawless and so talented "Well I'm Dan I'm in Bastille and I cant dance." I said while playing with my bracelets. She looked at me with those big brown eyes and I melted. "So your a stormer right? Whats your favorite song?" She looked at the ceiling and looked at me "Oblivion" she replied after a moment. "why?" I asked her. "Well first off your falsettos and the meaning of the song is just brilliant." she said and took a sip of her coffee. "What about you whats your favorite song on my album?" She said resting her chin in her hands and elbows up on the table.

"well hmmm maybe ummm I dont know." I was undecided. I ran my hands through my quiff "Oh I know Starry Eyed." Jenna looked at me and said "why?" just like I did then she giggled wow her laugh was smooth. "Well I love the song because I just think your voice is insane in a good way." I waited for her reaction. "This is gonna be so hard." I was confused. "What are you talking about?" She sighed "I really wanna be friends with you but my Dad is a jerk." She said not taking her eyes of the table. "We'll just have to keep quiet than I would love to be your friend Jenna." I shot her a cheesy grin. "Lets get going so you don't get in trouble." I said standing up. "okay" she said following me.

When we reached our door steps I said "This was fun thank you maybe we can do something tomorrow when your Dad leaves." She looked down and blushed dang was she cute. "Ill text you here's my number." She said handing me a piece of paper. "Goodnight Dan" and with that she entered her flat. I unlocked my door and put her phone number in my phone under Jenna <3. I then walked to my room stripped and put on some pj's. I sat in bed scrolling through twitter when I heard faint singing ~you look at me its like you hit me with lightning~, Her bedroom was next to mine I was thankful for the thin walls now I can hear her sing 24/7.

Jenna's POV

When I got into my flat I threw away my coffee cup and went upstairs. MyDad was already in bed. I changed into some grey sweatpants and an old shirt from school. While doing this I didn't realize I was singing Starry Eyed I don't usually sing my songs. Does it have anything to do with Dan saying its his favorite song? Maybe, but we'll always be just friends. That thought does hurt though I do like him and this coffee "date" didn't help he's so amazing. I turned on my T.V. and sat in bed. I was watching The Simpsons when I heard my phone beep twice. I had 2 messages one from my mom and one from an unknown number.

Mom: Glad your happy dear!! so anything cool happen yet?

I replied with: Well Dan freaking Smith lives next door. I clicked on the message with the unknown number.

###-###-####: Hey its Dan wanted to text you and thank you for having coffee with me and I wanted you to have my number.

Jenna: Hey and Thank you!!! Your such a sweet guy :) I'll try to text you tomorrow. When jerk face leaves.

I put my phone down and watched some more Simpsons. I couldn't get over this excitement maybe I'm just fangirling it cant be what I think it is. Okay I really need to just focus on Enjoying my break I can't worry about my Dad or Dan. My phone beeped again.

Dan: By the way your voice is lovely <3........That sounded creepy lol I heard you singing Stary eyed ;) nice choice.

Jenna: Not creepy at all these walls are so thin!! our bedrooms are right next to eachother I'm guessing?

Dan: yes they are go ahead and keep singing lol goodnight.

I didn't reply after that I put my phone down turned off the T.V. and went to sleep.
