Allison Wayland, twin sister of Jace Wayland, is thrown into the "mundane" Clary Fray's journey of self-discovery in the shadow world - all while performing her daily routine of hunting demons, keeping the mundanes safe and her debate on confessing...
"Like at Pandemonium when I killed that demon?" Clary challenged.
Alec stepped forward only for Jace to stop him.
"Alec, I'll show her the right way to use it. Do you see what you need?" He asked.
Alec glanced back at Clary and rolled his eyes before looking in the chest of weapons. "No." He said. "There's no bow here. I need one." He said with grotted teeth. "There are some runed arrows back at the Institute, I gotta go." He said and turned away.
"I need my double bladed staff. I'll come with you, Alec." Aaliyah began to walk with her brother.
"How are you two going to get back into the Institute?" Jace asked the siblings.
Alec looked at him. "We'll go in the back."
"Fine." Jace said. "We'll finish up here." He turned and so did Alec but the eldest Lightwood paused.
Aaliyah and Allison looked at their siblings, frowing at the growing tension between them.
Alec turned back to Jace "Hey, I trust you." He looked Jace in the eye. "Parabatai. Don't ever doubt me, no matter what I said."
Jace held up his hand. "Already forgotten."
Alec joined his hand with Jace's as they both looked at each other with a smile which made both Allison and Aaliyah smile at their brothers.
"I'll see you at dawn." Jace said.
"At dawn" Alec nodded patting his shoulder before leaving with Aaliyah.

Sneaking in through the back of the Institute, Alec checked the weapons vault to make sure no one was nearby before entering with Aaliyah.
Pulling out the various weapons, Alec spotted his bow and Aaliyah's double bladed staff. He gave his sister her weapon before taking his bow.
Aaliyah ran her slender fingers along the blades of her staff before running her stele across the various runes on the staff.
Alec got some of his arrows and took his stele out of his back pocket.
He ran his stele across his arrows, one at a time, activating the various runes on them. The siblings hadn't heard their instructor come in until he spoke up.
"Alec, Aaliyah." Hodge looked at them. "Didn't know you two were here." He took a sip from his cup of coffee.
"Yeah, we uh..." Alec started and Hodge stepped closer to them.
