Before I start my book I want to mention this is my first one and it is also based off a true story. Also, this book is for Mature audiences only it will contain strong language, hard topics and will include personally written poetry.
It's funny how things change, I've never had an easy or perfect life so I've always kept to myself. I never cared too much or let people stay too long because it just makes it harder for when they leave. I want to consider myself a normal girl, I have a pretty normal name Mae Evans; pretty simple. I get along with everyone, well normally, but I'm not popular I don't care for popularity. The one thing that does suck now though is my mom works at the school I go to. Benton high. Normal High School with Normal people, but it's still not easy.
I do have issues I get in my head a lot but nobody knows that my parents pay attention but not too close so they don't see it either, but I hide behind softball and always have a smile on my face so why would they? and why would I want them to notice?
