The sunlight gazed into Olivia's window, shining the light onto her face. She groaned as she covered her face with her pillow.
The buzzing of her phone was another bother to her attempt to sleep in. Olivia turned onto her stomach, regretting it immediately, she had forgotten about the sickness that was keeping her home from school. She swallowed down the burning feeling in her throat and checked her phone, it was a call from her best friend, Marcus.
"Hello?" She rolled onto her back once again, draping her arm across her scorching hot forehead.
"Hey, where are you? I've been texting you for the last hour! My class is ending in a few minutes, where do you wanna meet up today?" Marcus's voice replied excitedly, not giving Olivia a chance to speak.
"Okay,, slow down.. " She grumbled, "I'm not going to any of my classes,, I'm sick, didn't I tell you..?"
There was an audible gasp from her phone, "uh- nO??" He sounded panicked, it was silent for a while, "Marcus? What happened?" No response,, "hello?" Olivia checked her phone to see if he was still on the call, it was muted. It was unmuted a few moments after, Marcus's voice came back, Olivia placed her phone back up to her ear, "im- sorry what did you say?"
*it would take a miracle for me to finish this- I actually started this last year and never came back to it. The next few drafts will come out, I just decided that it would be useless to keep these for no reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯*
