As I walked through the dark hallway lit with only my flashlight, I saw a figure peering around the corner. It's piercing red eyes glared at me. I started back, backing away, but each step I took the creature followed, getting ever closer each second. Soon, it was close enough to wrap me in it's slender arms. Feasting on my flesh, I let out a bloodcurdling cry as the creature dug it's razor sharp teeth into my skin. Before I knew it, I left the world of the living. Death was more painful than I thought it would be, that being said, I didn't die in an ordinary way.

I woke up in terror when I realized it was only just a dream. I've been having the same dream a lot recently. I haven't seeked any help for it because it didn't seem like that big of a deal. Then I saw the bite marks on my arm. I started to panic, but I hoped it was only my cat. I went to go find her, but she was gone. Must've snuck out for a little hunt, the little rascal. I couldn't help but feel like the bite marks had to do with my dream. I went to the fridge for some food, but everything was dumped on the floor. I stared in shock. My nightmare might be coming true. I went into the living room, and everything was torn up. There was stuffing from the pillows laying everywhere. I checked outside the window to see if anything was there. I didn't see anything. I tried remembering what happened in the dream, seeing if the monster was in my house making a mess of everything. Then I remembered, I wasn't even in my house. It started at the hospital. The one I was born in. Oh god... I went to the hospital to see if everything was okay. I walked in there, and it was a slaughterhouse. I ran down the hallway, trying to find anyone. Anyone alive, that is. All I could see was blood, and the ripped flesh of the doctors, nurses, and patients. Then I saw the thing. I backed away in fear, it's presence haunting me.
