Backstory: She grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. When she went to college at age 20, she was noticed by Nick Fury and HYDRA. Luckily SHIELD got her first and trained her. However, Carolina left SHIELD and went with her family. Three years later, HYDRA found her killed all her family and kidnapped her and forced her to work for them planning Bucky's missions. Speed forward a year, Fury found out about her and rescued her, so she's been staying at the Avengers tower.
