Chapter 1: Drowning in Darkness
" Wh-whut? What is this? Where am I? Why can't I...feel?"
You're in some sort of pool of water. It's weird though. Even though you're underwater, you can speak and breathe normally. This just strikes you as...strange. You're wearing nothing except your boxers and you can't open your eyes for some reason. You're just...drifting.
" It...can't be anything to worry about, right? Probably just a dream or a fantasy. Nothing to worry about. I'll just wake myself up and move on with the day."
You open your eyes. All you see is still dark. It makes no difference if your eyes are shut or closed, you'll just stare into darkness. All of a sudden though, you see a light shine from above. It's weak but it's there. You can just feel it. You reach out towards it.
