This book is based on actual dogs at a local animal shelter. I have gone there daily and visited them, and I have learned their personalities, mostly. These dogs are all very kind, and most are still in need of a home. One of my dogs is from this shelter, and they took very good care of her. There will be a list of all the animals in this story that will have a point of view.

This book is written in memory of Na-Vea, one of the former shelter dogs. She was found with gunshots to her back right leg, and, unfortunately, it had to be amputated. On 4-24-19, she passed away due to heart worms.
