"And here I stand, before some random guy who just magically showed up at House Shigarhe without a clue of how he got here." The lady stared him down with a chuckle. He wasn't much to look at. At least not at first glance.
"I'm serious... And you're floating, not standing, Miss..." He coughed, taking a loose hold of his jaw.
She laughed, "so I am." Moving closer, she bared her teeth in an odd grin, "you got a name, kid?"
"Uh... Lu- Luciano..." He stepped back as her face lit up.
"Oh! Welcome home! Come inside Mr Vargas, we have some things to discuss!"
Before he could say much, the lady span around and started towards the mansion behind her. Luciano thought about running but behind him there was only black, engulfing everything the light could never reach. So he followed this lady into her home.
The place was brightly lit. By both lights and candles. Brought a lovely golden hue to the interior. Yet, Luciano saw a dullness to the lights. Almost as if the house was grieving—
"Ah, Mr Vargas, let me show you to the dining room." She side eyed him, a persistent grin sprawled across her face.
