"Sara, wake the FUCK UP!"
I opened my eyes gently, quickly shutting them again and I was blinded by the burning sun. I hate the sun. I groaned, turning on my side as I whispered; "5 more minutes..". Or something like that. I was pretty much still asleep at that point.
"Fucking hell... Look at the TIME! We're gonna be LATE!" Another screech, before something small and hard was thrown at my head.
"Ow.."
I took the strange, slim object into my hand, before realising it was just my phone. Eventually, I sat up on the bed groggily, managing to find my glasses and put them on.
I turned on my phone, and my unhappy expression turned into a smile at the first notification I saw;
'Edgybeanieboy liked your comment.'
I felt my heart flutter in my chest, gazing lovingly at the name on my screen before registering what just happened. He!! Liked!! My!! Fucking!! Comment!!
I bit my lip hard, pretty much to stop myself from screaming out loud. My heart thumped in my chest, my mind filled with confusion and excitement, though mostly I could hear myself screaming; I could barely think straight!
However, I'm not sure my roommate would like me screeching so early in the morning..
My roommate, of course, was Laura; we were best friends, though of course she could be annoying at times. What did she ask me to do again? Oh, right, the time..
I looked up, above the wonderful notification to where it said the time.
11:46.
Shit.
We were meant to meet up with our friends, Emily and Chloe, and Laura's girlfriend, Aimee, at the park. At 12:00.
Shit, shit, shit, shit, shittt...
I immediately jumped out of bed and sprinted to the bathroom, leaving Laura and my phone behind while trying to:
1) Get ready as fast as possible
2) Not get attacked by our pets.
Did I mention our house is like a fucking zoo?
I have 2 border collies (Kola and Pepsi), Laura has a cat (Kitty), and we also have some snakes, a few lizards, a small parrot, a floppy-eared bunny, and lots of pretty fish.
Don't ask how we manage to look after all of them.
But like I said - literal zoo.

I finally got ready at top speed, and we started getting ready to go out to the park. It was 11:56, but our friends wouldn't mind us being a little late.
Hesitantly, I went to put my phone in my bag: I so wanted to check my notifications one more time, look at instagram or tik tok... his instagram or tik tok.
"Hurry up!" Laura yelled at me. I shoved my phone in my bag, clipping the leashes onto Kola and Pepsi. They woofed - or, well, rather squeaked - happily, tails wagging and tongues out of course.
"Finally ready? We're gonna be soo late.." Laura said, already heading out to the door.
She was wearing jeans, a mint green shirt, a flannel and a grey cap.
In my rush, I just put on a pastel purple crop top and some random shorts.
Finally ready to go, I walked over to the door where Laura was waiting impatiently, Kola and Pepsi following behind.
Laura did a double take as she saw me, her eyes wide as she tried not to stare.
"SARA!!! Those shorts are TOO SHORT!" She screeched, surprised and very concerned.
I looked down. Well.. Maybe they were a little too short. Oops.
"Whatever, no time to change them now. Come on, let's go!" I said, though I was pretty much dying of embarrassement.
Laura sighed, but she finally opened the door and we set out - Me, Laura, Kola and Pepsi.
