I always would walk to school with my best friend, Aiko. She was a really nice person and was silly. She wasn't very popular, but she was beautiful. She had very light silverish-purple dyed hair that was very long. Her eyes were a burgundy unnatural color. She was 16, but quite skinny and about 5'6. I was taller, about 6'1. She always wore a black hair bow. Aiko wasn't really talkative, but she was always happy. Until one day.
"Riku, wait up". I stopped to wait for Aiko to catch up. It was around 7:30 a.m and school starts at 8:00. I'm never late because the school is about five or six minutes away so I just waited. She was with her little brother Haru. Haru was a short, skinny, brown haired little kid with brown eyes . He was ten, and was also shy. "Hey Haru." I put my hand on his head and ruffled his hair. " Hey Riku " he said and then ran towards the school. Aiko looked upset which was quite strange for her. She had a small frown and sad eyes. "Hey Aiko, you okay." I asked her and she didn't answer for like 10 seconds. "Yes, I'm fine I promise." she finally said with a worried tone. I knew she wasn't , but I didn't do anything.
I made it to school with Aiko about ten minutes before class time. I had a different first period then her so I was worried she'd get more upset because she had history, which is her least favorite subject. She hated everything about history including the teacher Ms. Seiko. When pronounced correctly it sounds like Ms. Psycho and she was very crazy and strict.
Later, in second period when Aiko walked into class she looked worse than before and so I asked her what was wrong. She answered with the single word "Nothing" and in the worst possible tone, so I just hugged her and sat down. In class she just seemed so out of it. It wasn't normal for her to do that so I asked to move by her, maybe it would make her feel better.
