Highschool Ideal Type chapter 2

You and Lee Joon became good friends at school and started to hang out ever since you started to attending High school, he's your first friend you've made ever since you entered to South Korea.

~YOUR POV~

"Hey Joon, since it's my first day of school can you teach me more of the Korean language?" I asked him.

"Well teaching you the Korean language I'm not so sure about". He replied.

"Well I asked... is simply because you're my first Korean friend that I had made so far". said I.

"Huh?! Really?! I'm your first Korean friend?!" He exclaimed by grabbing my hands.

"Yeah, you're my first Korean friend". I chuckled.

I realized that he's really an attractive guy, but we're only friends, so I don't think rushing would be a good idea it might frighten him, and he might think I'm a weirdo.

~LEE JOON POV~

I don't why I'm feeling so happy that I'm her first Korean friend but wait there's something I want to ask her about since we're being hanging out a lot at school and after school.

"Hey Y/N-ssi?" I called to her.

"Hmm... what is it?" she replied.

"I was wondering since we've been hanging out a lot, there's something I want to ask you if you don't mind me asking". I said.

"Yeah sure ask me anything". she replied with a sweet smile.

"Have you ever had a boyfriend before you came to Korea?" I asked her.

"Yeah of course I've dated guys before I came here". she replied.

"Have you ever cheated on your boyfriend or dumped him?" I asked her.

"It's actually the opposite the boyfriends I went out with in the past would cheat on me and dumped me" she said.

I was really surprised with her answer I've never met a girl who's similar to me.

"Me too". I said to her.

"hmm". she replied with a confused tone.

"I've had girlfriends in the past that had cheated on me and dumped me in the past". I continued.

"Really?! Wow! I never imagine meeting someone who had similar experience with bad relationships". she replied all surprised.

"No wonder we became wonderful friends". I suddenly said to her.

"Yeah". She smiled.

"But kind of attention did you do that made guys ask you out?" I suddenly ask her again.

"Well... I don't like too much attention, but the only reason guys will go after me... is that I have an attractive face and a great body not because of who I am as a person". She sighed feeling a bit down.

"You are really attractive isn't that a good thing?" I complimented her.

"You can say that, but it's pretty tiring actually, and sometimes I wished I wasn't attractive at all". She confessed.

"Wow how come you wish that?" I asked her all surprised.

"The reason I say that I really wish a guy can love me back for who I am not because I have an attractive face". she pouted.

I nodded and that's one of things I really like about her that the fact she's different from most girls, I must say she's one of the bravest and honest person I've got to know.

"What about you how come girls dump such attractive guy like yourself?" she asked me.

"Well I usually get a dump because I'm too overprotective and a jealous type of guy". I tell her.

"Wow some girls sure don't know what they're missing". She suddenly said.

"It's the first time that a girl would say that about me". I confessed.

"No really they don't know what they're missing, I rather prefer a jealous than a total moron". she smiled at me.

"You prefer a jealous guy?!" I said with my eyes widen... This girl sure surprises me.

"Yeah I do when I feel that a boyfriend that I date is jealous it let's me know that he loves me". she pouted with a smile.

"What about the overprotection?" I hesitantly asked.

"Well I'm used to having my family to be overprotective over me, but it would be nice if I have a boyfriend that has those qualities". she replied.

~YOUR POV~

I'm sure getting to know Joon a lot better each day I mean we both have similar experience when it comes to relationships. I still can't believe on why girls in this world can be this dumb they decide to cheat and dump a really sweet guy like Joon I just don't get it. As we were walking home after school a group of girls came up to us, and they seem to know Joon. I observed his body language how it changed from being this confident guy to an insecure guy, could it be he dated one of those girls before.

"Aigoo, long time no see Joonie-oppa". said one of the girls.

"Yeah... hi..." he replied.

"Aish! You're still the same! How boring don't you ever change?" she tells him.

Joon didn't respond and remained silent, even though I didn't understand much Korean, but I could tell in what she was telling him wasn't any good. After those girls left I went up to Joon and I looked into his eyes, I could tell when someone is deeply hurt I know how it feels because I've experienced it before, and I had comforted many of my friends in the past.

"Joon?" I called to him.

"Yeah". He forced a smile.

"Whatever those girls said to you don't let it get to you". I tell him.

He looked at me that he wanted to cry.

"I'm fine..." he tried to convince me.

"You're not fine I can tell when someone is hurt, I know this because I had to comfort most of my friends from bad relationships". I hugged him.

"Thank-you .....-ah, I wouldn't know what it is like if I hadn't met you". he said.

"Yeah I have a big habit of comforting everyone". I said feeling a bit shy.

"I like that about you". said Joon smiled gently.

"Tell me what did those girls say to you?" I asked him.

"They said that I'm a useless guy a good for nothing..." he said bowing his head.

"HUH?! Whaaaaaaaaaaat... Are they out of their minds?!" I eye widen.

"Yeah... Hmmm Y/N-ah are you okay?" he asked me.

"Tsk... Those girls need to get their eyesight checked for real... Those girls are not worth it people like that are a waste of time, so don't be sad because I'm here for you... I promise you that no matter what happens I will be here with you in the good and in the bad". I tell him.

Joon smiled feeling a lot better since I was able to cheer him up which I was always to end up doing with many of my friends. After that happened he walked me home which is a sweet thing about him... stupid girls they sure don't know what they want in life I would die to have a guy like Joon.

"Joon I have a good idea". I suddenly grabbed his hands.

"What is it?" he asked.

"How about making a deal since we're friends". I randomly said.

"What kind of deal...it's a bit random". he laughed nervously.

"How about this, you teach me Korean and I teach you English". I came out with it.

"Oh okay... why so sudden?" he asked.

"Because just in case if another girl comes up to you and say anything horrible to you again I will say something to her that she will never forget". I explained.

"But why though?" he asked worried.

"I want to protect you... I won't let anyone hurt you" I declared war on those stupid girls.
