The Bite

Chapter 1

The young woman was sitting in the green grass, admiering her surroundings. She look at the sky and saw that the moon was rising "Should be heading home" she got up and picked her basket that was full with fruits and vegetables. She keept walking until the sound of howls could be heard; her eyes widen when she saw four wolves in front of her "Well shit" she looked behind her and started running. One of the wolves gave a loud howl and started running towere the last words she heard before fainting

A stucture could be seen by every step she took; it looks like a castle wait it is a castle. She gave her last strength to run quikly inside and shut the door in the wolves faces " Im safe now" she took a momwnt to catch her breath "i never remember seeing a castle in this areas...strange" Chalice grab a torch and started walking around. The place might be old but it will work for her for the night

The castle was about three or five floors "a castle this big with no one in it" All of the sudden the doors closed shut. She ran toward the door and tried to open them but it didnt work "No one in it you said?" a deep husky voice could be heard "Who there?!" There was a moment of silence until she felt a hand around her neck. She screamed but it was muffled by the same hand that was one here neck then she felt another hand around her waist. She tried to break free from the person's grasp but they where really strong. She looked down to the hand and her eyes widen seen the long nails, they were really sharped it can be used to penetrate skin or cut someone in half

The hand that is on her mouth dissapear but the the grip of the hand that is on her waist got tighter "What is your name young one?" she looked at the man. He had long balck hair with the tips colored in brown, he had really dark orange eyes, pale skin and he sure had some muscle "you didnt answer my question..." he dough his nail into her waist "Ch-chalice...Chalice Smith" The man was pleased with her anwser "Who ever put you that name, they where really clever..." he chukled "And let me ask you something..." He holded her wrist "Who gave you permission to enter?" he raised an eyebrow

Chalice didnt answer him but instead she looked away "Answer me woman!" she whined in pain when he dough his nails onece again "I was been followed by a family of wolves and i entered here to be safe..."
he lets her body go "you know what, i will keep you aftet all..." he lickrd his lips "its been a while" he opened his mouth really wide showing his two sharp fangs "A vampire?!" Chalice screamed and tried to get away but the vampire grabbed her. He moved her head aside to show him her neck, he was hypnotized not only by how tender her neck look but by the smell of her blood. When he was about to dig his fangs in Chalice's neck she grabs the dagger she had in her pocket and stabs the vampire in the arm

He started to laugh has he takes out the dagger out of his arm "You really think that will hurt me?" in that exact momment he bit her neck, his fangs piercing her soft skin. She scream in both pain and agony but he didnt care; He only cared about drinking her sweet blood. When he finished he took his fangs out of her neck and licked the part where the bite was located, drying the wound and leaving a small bruse on her neck. "Chalice is a type of cup where we put blood to drink" he puts his lips close to her ears "From now you will be my chalice..."

Those were the last words she heard before fainting
