The world we live in was once peaceful and prosperous, that is until Patient Zero entered the scene. No, I'm not talking about a zombie apocalypse, I'm talking about the rise of the abnormals, or those who have strange abilities.
The rise of abnormals caused absolute chaos and anarchy across the world, plunging the human race into a sort of post apocalyptic era for a short time. The only ones who were seemingly unaffected were the scientists and government officials who were tasked with finding and capturing the abnormals.
Patient Zero was the first to develop an abnormality. She had icy cold skin that froze the moisture in the air around her allowing herself the ability to encase her body in ice and make and control the ice around her. It also made her stop aging, and prevent her from growing old. She was immediately researched on by scientists along anyone who seemed like they possessed any sort of abnormality.
The Rebels, know as the Arkayan Rebels, were the main force against the governments of the world, having their main area of operation in the southern part of the United States and the Northern part of Mexico. It was them and the smaller rebel factions against the world, all wanted for their 'crimes against humanity' and 'being freaks that are unfit to live.'
It was a tragic time indeed.
The population in the world dropped by thiry percent as a result of the chaos.
It's been forty years since It all began.
It was in a lab that our story begins with Patient#52807 as our hero.
