As the cold wind blows through the window pane,

The swishing of the wind chime drowns the silence.

As the shadows of the night creep up to me

From behind,

The warmth of your skin feels just right against mine.

You dismiss my sorrows,

The adrenaline pumping inside me,oh!such a rush,

We've waited so long,

Finally,our emotions supersede the ego,

Inner selves banish outer appearances,

Not dwelling on the past,

We've finally learnt to let go,

Of painful memories,

Of the deadly silence

And finally,forever and always,
